| With the prosperity of new energy automotive industry in China,major automotive companies have launched various battery electric vehicles to seize market share.Audi e-tron will be produced in Changchun Base,FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co.,Ltd.in 2020.This report is based on my internship from July to November of 2019 in the FAW-VW Logistics Workshop where I worked as the escort interpreter for Daniel Langhi,a project engineer of Ingenics Consulting(Shanghai)Co.,Ltd.During the practice,the author met with such difficulties as inaccurate pronunciation of English by the non-native speaker,insufficient vocabulary of inhouse logistics terminologies,and obscurity in expression of the source language.Based on knowledge and experience,countermeasures have been proposed: analysis of accent characteristics and words speculation,literal translation of terms and background knowledge expansion,confirmation of source information and employment of the amplification.With detailed case study and practice conclusion,this report is hoped to be of referential significance to whom are devoted to the interpreting in automotive industry or inhouse logistics. |
