Research On Legal Consulting Questions In "Ask The Law"

More and more legal advice websites appear in China recently because of the rapid development of information technology and the call for advancing the law-based governance of China.People concern about how to ask questions online to get satisfied answers that is helpful to solving problems as the user of “Ask the French open”(www.51 wf.cn).To deal with this problem,this article selects the consulting questions on "Wen Fa Wang" as the corpus.Analyzing essential questions from three dimensions like question length,question words and question structure,and comparing these three syntax characteristics between essential questions and daily Chinese questions.Having conclusions about questions' syntax characteristics in the field of online legal consulting and using strategies when we ask for advice through legal consulting websites.Firstly,the length of questions should be controlled between 10 tokens and 41 tokens;secondly,using interrogative pronouns and mood words to ask questions;thirdly,choosing appropriate interrogative structure according to the interrogative words.This research can not only improve the effectiveness of the legal consulting websites from the perspective of user,but also provide a corpus basic for building an automatic question answering corpus in the legal field.It will promote the construction of the platform and the automatic question answering system in the future legal field.
