The branches of Miao people are various and complicated.The Miao people have their own languages,it contains different Miao dialects,sub-dialects and some local dialects.Up to now,there is lots of disagreements and questions in classifying Miao dialects,and even the quantity and types of these dialects are still remain largely unknown.The subject of this thesis is about the ownership of “Mu A Su”,a kind of Miao dialect in Bi Jie,Guizhou Province.Then make comparisons between phonetic characteristics of “Mu A Su”,“Mu A Su” dialect and other Miao sub-dialects in the northeast of Yunnan Province,Miao sub-dialects in Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou.Based on the comparisons we made,this thesis makes a new division of adscription of “Mu A Su”.This thesis mainly includes the following:The first chapter is introduction,describes the source of subject,research background,significance,contents,methods,and the relative questions of this article,It tells the historical origin and the migration paths of the Miao,the general situation of the geography,history of He Zhang county of Guizhou province and the distribution of the Miao in China,etc.The second chapter illustrated the phonetic system of the “Mu A Su” Miao dialect.With describing the usage of “Mu A Su” Miao dialect,and the detailed introduction of the phonetic system,the thesis makes phonetic features of “Mu A Su” Miao dialect clearly.The third chapter states the comparison of “Mu A Su” and Northeast yunnan dialect of the Miao.With detailed comparison between voiceless initials,voiced initials and finals,the relation between tone contrast,analysis of the speech development and differentiation between the two different dialects.The fourth chapter discusses the comparison of “Mu A Su”and sichuan yunnan dialect of the Miao.By means of the initials,finals and tones corresponding relationship between the comparative analysis,illustrate the differentiation.The fifth chapter describes the ancient Miao voice class in “Mu A Su” reflects in the forms of the Miao.Through ancient hmong sound,rhyme in the region of yunnan dialect and northeast yunnan dialects,reflect the form between “Mu A Su”,this thesis discusses the relationship in the relative relationship.The conclusion part draws a conclusion of the whole thesis.And then finalizes the adscription of “Mu A Su” Miao dialect in Bi Jie,Guizhou Province.
