Analysis Of The Laws Of Acupuncture And Traditional Chinese Medicine In The Treatment Of Peripheral Facial Paralysis Based On Data Mining

Purpose:Through data mining method to explore the use of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis sequelae in recent 10 years,to provide evidence-based basis for acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis,and then reveal and evaluate the efficacy and value status of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis.Materials and methods:1.Data collection: Chinese literatures about acupuncture and moxibustion or traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis in CNKI,VIP and WF databases in recent 10 years were searched by computer2.Literature inclusion: a total of 258 articles were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.3.Establish database: extract the title,author,publication,acupoint,prescription,traditional Chinese medicine and other information,establish the acupuncture prescription database and traditional Chinese medicine prescription database,and standardize the acupoint and traditional Chinese medicine.4.Data mining: WPS 2019 excel was used to analyze the distribution and meridian tropism of acupoints in the database,as well as the drug category,four Qi,five flavor and meridian tropism of traditional Chinese medicine.SPSS software was used to cluster analysis(CA)and association rule analysis(Association)of acupoints and traditional Chinese medicine with high frequency(acupoint frequency ≥ 20,traditional Chinese medicine frequency ≥ 10)To explore the rules of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis.result:1.925 literatures were collected from the research through the search of subject words.Then,258 papers were selected to be included in this study.A total of 79 prescriptions and 247 acupuncture prescriptions were entered,including 108 Chinese medicine and 97 acupoints respectively.2.Analysis of the results of traditional Chinese Medicine(1)The total frequency of 108 kinds of Chinese medicine is 898,of which 25 kinds of Chinese medicine are used more than 10 times,accounting for 31.65% of the total number of Chinese medicine,but the total frequency of use is 74.61%.The top 10 Chinese medicines are:Scorpio > silkworm > White aconite > Chuanxiong > Angelica > wind prevention >Angelica > Astragalus > peony > licorice.(2)The total frequency of drug property statistics was 898 times,among which the warm drugs ranked first,accounting for 47.33% of the total frequency,the rest were flat 255 times(28.40%),cold 176 times(19.60%),cool 39 times(4.34%),and the last was hot drugs,only 3times(0.33%).(3)The total frequency of drug flavor analysis was 1295,of which the most frequent of bitter taste was 572,accounting for 44.17%,followed by 354 times(27.34%),bitter 227 times(17.53%),salty 34 times(6.80%),acid 34 times(2.63%),light 19 times(1.47%),astringency1(0.08%).(4)The results showed that liver meridian was the most common meridian in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis with 606 times,accounting for 28.38% of the total frequency,353 times of lung meridian,16.53%,spleen meridian,290 times,accounting for13.58%,285 times(13.35%),heart meridian 195 times(9.13%),bladder meridian 113 times(5.29%),kidney meridian 85 times(3.98%),bile meridian 71 times(3.33%),large intestine meridian 113 times(5.29%),kidney meridian 85 times(3.98%),bile meridian 71 times(3.33%),large intestine meridian 67 times(3.14%),pericardial bypass 50 times(2.34%),small intestine(18 times(0.84%),trefocal meridian 2 times(0.09%).(5)There are 14 kinds of Chinese medicine involved in the treatment of the disease,the specific drugs and their order are as follows: jiebiao medicine,Pinggan Xifeng medicine,tonifying deficiency medicine,promoting blood circulation and stasis removing medicine,clearing heat medicine,phlegm relieving cough and relieving asthma drug,removing wind and damp medicine,water and moisture removing medicine,regulating qi medicine,dehumidification medicine,opening up medicine,Wenli medicine,blood stopping medicine,anti poison and insect and anti itching medicine,the total frequency of use is 898 times.(6)Cluster analysis can be divided into four categories,as follows: the first category:scorpion,rigid silkworm,white aconite,centipede,chicken blood vine,Gastrodia elata;the second category: chuanxiong,licorice,angelica,red flower,peach kernel,red peony,Dilong,astragalus,and the third category: peony,Radix Glycyrrhiza,Pueraria,Cinnamomum;the fourth category: Poria,asarum,Angelica dahurica,wind prevention,Qiang,jingmustard,cicada molting.(7)The analysis of association rules shows that there are five pairs of common drug pairs for the treatment of this disease: Scorpion and silkworm,scorpion and white aconite,scorpion and wind prevention,Ligusticum chuanxiong and angelica,chuanxiong and angelica.The correlation rules with 100% confidence were 6 groups: wind prevention,white aconite and scorpion;Angelica,white aconite and scorpion;white aconite,chuanxiong and scorpion;wind prevention,white aconite,ossification and scorpion;Angelica,white aconite,ossification,silkworm and scorpion;white aconite,chuanxiong,ossification silkworm and scorpion.3.analysis of acupoint results(1)The total frequency of 97 acupoints is 2400,of which 20 acupoints are used more than 20 times.Although only 20.62% of the acupoints,their total frequency of use is 88.83%.The top 10 points in the use frequency are: Dicang,Hegu,buccal car,Yang Bai,Sibai,Yifeng,Xiaguan,Zhuzhu,sun,Xiangxiang.(2)The analysis of acupoints’ meridians shows that the acupuncture treatment of peripheral facial paralysis is mainly the acupoints of Foot Yangming stomach meridian(35.17%),foot Shaoyang bile channel(13.71%),hand Yangming large intestine meridian(13.33%)and jingwaiqi(9.54%).(3)The distribution of acupoints shows that facial acupoints are the most frequently used acupoints,with 2400 times,accounting for 79.25%;secondly,the upper elbow and the lower elbow points,lower extremity knee and knee points,their frequency of use is 10.67% and8.83%;finally,the neck,waist back and abdomen,with a total frequency of 1.25%.(4)Cluster analysis of acupoints shows that: it is mainly divided into three categories,as follows: the first category: Dicang,buccal car,yangbai,Hegu,Sibai,sun,cheeku;the second category: Xiaguan,fish waist,water bearing,ditch,bamboo,bamboo,bamboo empty,Xiangying,leading,and middle of human;the third category: Zusanli,Taichong,Fengchi,Yifeng.(5)Analysis of the association rules between acupoints: the common matching points are Yang Bai and Sibai,yangbai and Xiaguan,yangbai and zhuzhujiang,yangbai and sun.The first three groups with the highest confidence were: yangbai,Zusanli,Xiaguan and Yifeng;yangbai,Fengchi,Yingxiang and Yifeng;yangbai,fish waist and Yingxiang.Conclusion:1.From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine: scorpion,Bombyx batryticaticatus,chuanxiong,baifuzi,Fangfeng,Danggui,Huangqi,Baizhi,Baishao,Gancao are commonly used in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis.They are mainly pungent and warm,and belong to the liver meridian.The basic treatment principles are Xifeng Tongluo,Qufeng Yiqi Huoxue,and the basic treatment methods are Qianzheng powder,Buyang Huanwu Decoction and Chuanxiong chatiaosan.2.From the acupoints: the common acupoints for the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis are: Di Cang,Jia Che,he Gu,Yang Bai,Si Bai,Yi Feng,Xia Guan,Tai Yang,Ying Xiang and Zan Zhu,which are mainly local treatment,and the distal treatment is to dispel wind and dredge collaterals,replenish qi and nourish blood.The main channel of acupoints is zuyangming stomach channel.3.From the perspective of Holism: the rules of acupoint use and traditional Chinese medicine use analyzed in this study are basically consistent with the etiology and pathogenesis of peripheral facial paralysis(blood stasis obstructing collaterals,deficiency of Qi and blood),and the treatment principles(eliminating phlegm and dredging collaterals,supplementing qi and activating blood,eliminating evil and strengthening body),hoping to have reference significance and value for clinical treatment of peripheral facial paralysis.
