Clinical Study On Auricular Point Sticking Combined With Traditional Chinese Medicine In The Treatment Of Obese Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (kidney Deficiency And Phlegm-dampness Syndrome)

Purpose:The aim of this study is observe the combination curative effet of TCM herbs and Auricular point the clinical efficacy of ear point pressing method combined with traditional in treating overweight or obrse PCOS patient who also fulfilled both the kidney deficiency and phlegm-dampness type syndrome as well and obesity of kidney deficiency and phlegm-dampness type(PCOS)is analyzed,which provides research basis for clinical application.Material and method:A total of 73 obese patients with polycystic ovary syndrome with kidney deficiency and phlegm-dampness type syndrome were selected.Randomly divided into 36 cases in the control group and 37 cases in the treatment group.The control group was treated with oral Chinese medicine Bushen Huatan Decoction;the treatment group was treated with auricular acupoint pressing method on the basis of the control group:the two groups were treated for 3 months respectively.Observe the TCM syndrome scores menstrual status weight body mass index(BMI)waist-to-hip ratio(WHR)luteinizing hormone(LH)follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)testosterone(T).Changes in indicators such as LH/FSH,total blood cholesterol(TC)triglycerides(TG)high-density lipoprotein(HDL-L)and low-density lipoprotein(LDL-L)and statistical analysis of the two sets of data.Results:1.Basic situation analysis The treatment group(auricular point pressing combined with traditional Chinese medicine Bushen Huatan Decoction)and the control group(simple oral Bushen Huatan Decoction)are in age disease course TCM syndrome score menstrual score BMI sex hormones(LH,FSH,LH/FSH,T)blood lipid indexes(TG,HDL,LDL,TC)etc.are not significantly different and they are comparable(P>0.05).2.Body weight body mass index(BMI)and waist-to-hip ratio(WHR):Before and after treatment both groups can reduce body weight body mass index(BMI)and waist-to-hip ratio(WHR)the comparison between the groups the treatment group is in weight Body mass index(BMI)and waist-to-hip ratio(WHR)were improved better than the control group(P<0.05)the difference was statistically significant.3.TCM syndrome score :Comparing before and after treatment both groups can reduce TCM syndrome score.Comparing between the groups the treatment group is better than the control group in improving TCM syndrome score(P<0.05)and the difference is statistically significant.4.Sex hormone levels:Compared before and after treatment the LH/FSH values of the two groups of patients have decreased.The comparison of LH/FSH values between the groups shows that the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);indicating that the treatment group is reducing LH.The effect of /FSH value is better than that of the control group the LH FSH and T of the two groups of patients after treatment are not significantly different from before treatment and the difference is not statistically significant(P>0.05).5.Changes in blood lipid levels:Before and after treatment,both groups can improve blood lipid levels TG,LDL-C,HDL-C and TC values.the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);but the TC value is not statistically different Significance(P>0.05);comparison between the groups,the treatment group has no statistically significant difference in improving blood lipid levels compared with the control group(P>0.05).It shows that compared with the control group,the treatment group is equivalent to the control group in reducing the patient’s TC,TG,LDL-C and increasing the HDL-C value.6.Overall curative effect:The overall curative effect after treatment is compared between the two groups.The overall curative effect rate of the treatment group is 94.59% and the overall curative effect rate of the control group is 80.60%.The difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Ear acupoint pressing combined with Bushen Huatan Decoction can improve the menstrual condition,weight,BMI,WHR,TCM syndrome score,sex hormone level and abnormal blood lipid metabolism in obese PCOS patients with kidney deficiency,phlegm-dampness syndrome,and no liver and kidney damage.Clinically,it is an effective method for the treatment of obesity-type PCOS with kidney deficiency and phlegm-dampness syndrome.2.Electro-acupuncture combined with photoelectric therapy is better than simple oral Chinese medicine in reducing TG and increasing HDL-C,and the two methods are equally effective in reducing LDL-C and TC values.3.The clinical comprehensive effect of using ear acupoint pressing combined with Bushen Huatan Decoction is better than that of simple oral administration of Bushen Huatan Decoction,which proves the feasibility and effectiveness of ear point pressing as an adjuvant therapy,and it is worthy of further clinical application.
