Study On The Formula And Syndrome Rule Of Xuanfu Daizhe Decoction

The thesis takes Xuanfu Daizhe Tang which is a classical decoction from Shang Han Lun as the research object.Through exploring and expoiting Chinese ancient classical works,this study clarifies the prescription and syndrome rules of Xuanfu Daizhe Tang,so that the clinical use of classical prescriptions can be developed.The research includes two parts.The first part of it consists of the analysis of the etiology,pathogenesis,main syndrome,medicine,decocting method of Xuanfu Daizhe Tang,as well as the successive evolution,extended application,and the identification of similar prescriptions,with methods of literature review and comparative analysis.In the second part,128 medical cases of Qing Dynasty and Republic of China are analyzed by data mining,so as to find out the application rules of Xuanfu Daizhe Tang in aspects of etiology,types of tongue and pulse,symptoms,disease,drug addition and subtraction,medical dosage and so on.Based on the first part of the study,the main conclusions are as follows:1.Xuanfu Daizhe Tang evolved from Shengjiang Xiexin Tang.2.The location of the disease is more on the inside than on the outside.3.The pathogenesis is deficiency of Zhong Qi,Qi inversion,phlegm with or without liver Qi.4.The deficiency part mainly lies in the spleen and stomach of the middle energizer,with or without deficiency of heart Yang Qi.5."Epigastric fullness"is mainly caused by deficiency and phlegm.6.Clinical manifestations of "Continuous eructation" can be feeling hard or soft."With Yi Qi is a kind of deficiency which showed by belching,hiccups,ill sound and so on.7.The main herb of Xuanfu Daizhe Tang is Inula flower.The adjuvant herbs are Ochre and Ginger.The auxiliary herbs are Ginsen and Pinellia and the messenger herbs are Licorice and Jujube.8.The significance of decocting method of"removing dross and decocting again" is to alleviate the drug properties,relieve the discomfort of taking medicine and precipitate the most effective ingredients.9.The therapeutic range of Xuanfu Daizhe Tang has been extended to vomiting,hiccup,nausea,choking diaphragm,asthmatic cough,constipation,diarrhea and other diseases.The main application rules found in medical cases study are as follows:Seven emotions are highlighted in etiology of Xuanfu Daizhe Tang.The core diseases of this decoction include vomiting,belching,choking diaphragm,hiccup,phlegm,epigastric fullness and cough.The main types of tongue are pale tongue,light red tongue,white furred tongue,greasy furred tongue,and yellow white furred tongue,while the main types of pulse are stringy pulse,thin pulse,deficiency pulse,moist pulse and slippery pulse.There are fourteen basic symptoms in clinical manifestation:vomiting,epigastric fullness,eructation,choking diaphragm,hiccup,phlegm,cough,anorexia,fatigue,limb syncope,hypochondriac pain,epigastric pain,constipation and nausea.Vomiting and hiccup exhibits a remarkable correlation.Epigastric fullness is associated with eructation,anorexia,and constipation.There is also high correlation between phlegm and cough,anorexia and constipation,hiccup and constipation,as well as choking diaphragm and epigastric pain.Vomiting and choking diaphragm can be used as independent testimony in the case of Xuanfu Daizhe Tang.Ginseng is mostly replaced by tangshen root or American ginseng.Xuanfu Daizhe Tang is a decoction that treat secondary symptoms for emergency.When the disease being located in nether-JIAO or the pathogenic factors include dry heat,yin deficiency and warm heat,the decoction should not be used.
