Objective: To study the mechanism of Mao's Shengxian Decoction in the treatment of chronic heart failure through the research method of network pharmacology.Methods: The mining of the effective ingredients and drug prediction targets of Mao's Shengxian Decoction is through the TCMSP database.Using the databases of Gene Cards and OMIM to search for disease prediction targets related to chronic heart failure.and then make the intersection genes of drug targets and disease targets.Using Cytoscape3.8.2 bioinformatics analysis software to draw a network diagram of "components,targets and diseases".Construct protein interaction network diagrams of "drugs and diseases" related targets by using STRING database.Then the GO bioinformatics analysis and KEGG pathway analysis are performed on the protein interaction network diagram.After screening,the active ingredients of Chinese medicine of Mao's Shengxian Decoction are 98 through the bioavailability and drug-like properties.Results: There are 98 effective components and 1271 drug targets of Mao's Shengxian Decoction,as well as 10386 disease targets of chronic heart failure had been found by Oral bioavailability and drug-likenesss.Then we have obtained 196 genes that are the intersection of drug targets and disease targets.Including 91 GO rich entries and 123 KEGG signaling pathways which closely related to chronic heart failure.That involving fluid shear stress and atherosclerosis,AGE-RAGE signaling pathway in diabetic complications,IL-17 signaling pathway,C-type lectin receptor signaling pathway,MAPK signaling pathway,and toll like receptor signaling pathway.Conclusion: Mao's Shengxian Decoction having a closely link with CHF,which can exert its medicinal effects through multiple components,multiple targets,and multiple pathways.
