Clinical Study And Diffusion Tensor Imaging Analysis Of Fuyuan Tongluo Granules In The Treatment Of Post-cerebral Infarction Hemiplegia (kidney Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome)

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Fuyuan Tongluo granule in the treatment of hemiplegia after cerebral infarction(kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome),and to explore the possible mechanism of promoting the recovery of neurological function by using DTI technology.Methods: A total of 24 patients with hemiplegia after cerebral infarction(no contraindication to magnetic resonance imaging)were selected from the inpatient department and outpatient department of the Affiliated Hospital of Hunan Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2010 to January 2010.The patients were divided into the test group and the control group.The test group was given the combination of Fuyuan Tongluo granules and the control group was given the normal treatment and treatment according to the normal treatment and treatment according to the south of the thumb.The clinical efficacy of patients in the two groups before and after treatment was evaluated by using the exercise energy assessment scale,and 6patients were selected from the test group for the magnetic co-vibration dispersion tensor imaging and the parameters were analyzed.Results: After treatment,the Bi rating scale,simplified Fugl-Meyer exercise scale,TCM symptom score scale,Rankin scale and Lovett unarmed muscle strength scale of the experimental group were significantly improved compared with those of the control group(P < 0.05),However,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).The number of white matter fiber tracts in the lesion area was significantly increased in 6patients who underwent MR diffusion tensor examination.Further analysis of DTI parameters showed that the FA value in the lesion area was significantly increased after treatment(P < 0.05)Conclusions:1.Fuyuan Tongluo granule has definite curative effect on cerebral infarc tion hemiplegia(kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome),and can impr ove the limb motor dysfunction of patients with cerebral infarction recovery period to a certain extent.2.Fuyuan Tongluo granule can effectively improve muscle strength,lim b motor ability and activities of daily living in the treatment of hemiplegia af ter cerebral infarction,but the improvement of muscle tension is not obvious.3.The pathogenesis of Fuyuan Tongluo granule in the treatment of cerebral infarc tion hemiplegia may be that Fuyuan Tongluo granule promotes the growth of white matt er fiber tracts in the focal area of cerebral infarction.
