It is navel orange that is a fairly common fruit in China,and the provinces like Chongqing,Sichuan,Hubei and Hunan are prolific in the production of that.In these areas,the development of agricultural mechanization is slow due to numerous hills and slopes,rugged roads and small cultivated lands.Therefore,improving the efficiency and reducing the cost of navel orange picking is a very concerned problem in navel orange planting industry.Automatic fruit picking is the inevitable trend of the development of fruit planting industry,which mainly includes two parts: Fruit picking and processing after picking.Sorting & classification and conveying are the key and difficult parts in the processing after picking,and are the crucial processes.In this paper,the sorting and conveying device of mountain navel orange picking platform is selected as the research object.Firstly,the research status of sorting and conveying of navel orange picking platform at home and abroad is described in detail,and then the research significance,content,methods and technology are determined.In this paper,the navel orange in Fengjie,Chongqing is selected as the research object,and the physical parameters such as transverse diameter,longitudinal height,weight and surface hardness of the navel orange are measured.Through the drop damage test,the mechanical characteristics of navel orange are analyzed,and the functional requirements of the sorting and conveying device are determined.Finally,the overall design program of this project is formulated.Aiming at the problems occurred in the process of navel orange sorting and conveying such as low efficiency,high cost and high damage rate,the main design contents include the following aspects:(1)Slope baffle feeding mechanism.The tasks include the selection of belt material,the calculation of belt and baffle width,the structure and parameters of roller,the design of frame,and the calculation of belt and active roller speed.Finally,the selection of motor,sprocket and chain is completed.(2)Horizontal belt mechanism.The tasks include the design of horizontal belt width and length,as well as the completion of design of the framework.(3)Sorting mechanism.It is the key and difficult part of the design of this project.The tasks mainly includes the completion of design and calculation of sorting crankshaft components,push rod pushing mechanism components,conveying components,support components,etc.(4)navel orange collection mechanism,mainly including the design of citruscollection chute and fruit box.The modular modeling of each mechanism and navel orange shall be carried out subsequent to the completion of design of key parts,and then the assembly of virtual prototype is to be completed.Finally,the feasibility of the design is verified by motion simulation.
