The pile foundation of the thermal power plant has a large horizontal force due to its large load on the ground,and the piles-underground wall combined foundation is a new type of combined foundation.The underground wall has large rigidity.The lower part of the pile as the basis of the embedded,so the combined foundation has a high level of bearing capacity.At the same time,the foundation can reduce the number of horizontal load piles.Thereby the cost of project can be reduced and the foundation has lots of socio-economic significance.In this thesis,through the theoretical analysis of the new combined foundation,the program is written to study the factors that affect the deformation of the combined foundation.At the same time,the experimental model of the indoor under load is developed and the model test is carried out.Through theoretical analysis and model test data analysis,the main conclusions of this thesis are as follows:(1)Through the theoretical calculation of the combined structure as a whole,overall force of the combined foundation under the load is "big belly shape".The deformation is the overall tilt deformation,especially in the case of small pile length.The bending point at the connection point is large.(2)The influence of the surrounding load is the biggest on the displacement and internal force of the structure.The change of the wall height,pile diameter and pile number are followed behind.The change of the pile length especially when the pile length reaches after a certain length has little impact on the basis of the combination.(3)There is a difference in force and deformation between single pile structure and combined pile wall structure.The trend of integral force of combined pile wall structure is more obvious.Rigid deformation of combined foundation is more obvious.Single pile wall structure presents flexural deformation and horizontal bearing capacity is lower than combined foundation.(4)The combined foundation of piles-underground wall has higher bearing capacity under the large area loading and it is mainly borne by the front wall.The deformation behavior of combined foundation is different from the pile foundation.Under the heaped load,the top of the combined foundation is tilted toward the load side while the pile cap foundation is tilted away from the load side.The bearing capacity and vertical displacement of the front wall are much larger than those of the back wall.The bearing capacity of the pile foundation is also mainly borne by the front piles.(5)The dimensions of combined foundation have a greater impact on the force.The smaller combined foundation,the stronger the force of the whole.When the upper load of the combined foundation is small,it contributes little to reducing the horizontal displacement under the load.
