Equity incentives,by allocating stocks to corporate employees,bind employee benefits to a greater extent with corporate benefits,thereby attracting talents,stimulating employee potential,increasing the long-term investment behavior of senior executives,and ensuring longterm corporate benefits.my country's implementation of equity incentive programs has been delayed,but with the improvement of policies and corporate reforms,the market environment has gradually adapted to the new incentive model of equity incentives.Many companies that have gone public or are preparing to go public have begun to choose equity incentive models.Under this kind of market background,this article selects the equity incentive plan of Midea Group,a listed company in the home appliance industry,to conduct a detailed study,hoping to serve as a reference and reference for the implementation and optimization of equity incentives in my country.This article uses literature research method,event research method and comparative research method to collect and evaluate Midea Group's existing equity incentive plan,and then study the effect of Midea Group's equity incentive implementation on the short-term,long-term and financial aspects of corporate performance.The results found that in the short term,after the implementation of the equity incentive plan,the company's performance has improved within 10 days before and after the announcement date,but the extent is not significant;in the long term,the market acceptance rate is gradually increasing.From a long-term perspective of financial indicators for 2008-2019,profitability and operating capabilities have improved significantly.After comparing with the same industry,it is found that although Midea Group ranks at about tenth,its overall performance ranks higher in the industry.Based on this,after analyzing the advantages and problems of Midea Group's equity incentives,this article puts forward policy recommendations from the perspective of assessment conditions and equity incentive effects.
