A Study Of Historical Images Of The 1977 330 Project Based On The "Image History" Database

This research takes the historical photos of the 330 water conservancy project taken by "Wang Xianli" in 1977 as the object,and combines image analysis,document analysis,metadata labeling and statistical methods to present its image theme,historical value and style.Analyze,try to reveal the research value of personal documentary photography.The 330 project is the Gezhouba Water Conservancy Project,and it is the first water conservancy project independently constructed by the Chinese people in the Yangtze River Basin.This batch of originals includes 447 negatives,of which,after deduplication,it is enlarged to a 1:1 sample size of 413.The subject matter of his shooting involves all aspects of construction,meeting records,scenery,learning and life scenes,etc.throughout the year.It not only reflects the documentary of a single water conservancy project,but also reflects the archival significance of historical events.On the one hand,this research applied traditional image analysis methods for specific analysis of the image content,and at the same time used the "image history" database to perform metadata annotation and statistical segmentation of the rephotographed digital images,in order to explore a new research path for documentary images.This research also tries to talk about the people.The photographer has created a series of water conservancy projects about the collectivism in the construction and visits through the daily archeology of personal photographers,which embodies the red collectivism from the perspective of the meeting and the people.The style of the image shows the rich content,historical significance and artistic value of everyday images.
