Rainfall is a natural phenomenon,especially in southern part of my country,where the rainfall frequency is high,and the rainfall in the rainy season from June to August is even greater each year.There are almost all pores in the materials used for building asphalt concrete roads or cement roads,and falling rain water will destroy the mechanical properties of the materials,thereby reducing their strength and rigidity.In addition,the structural form of many sections of expressways in our country is filled embankment.Rainfall is the main reason for the settlement and cracking of the road surface,and the deformation and instability of the embankment slope.This paper mainly uses Geo-studio finite element software to study the seepage field,displacement field,stress field and embankment slope stability of embankment and pavement under different rainfall conditions.The main research work is as follows.(1)According to the theory of seepage and mechanics,based on the embankment and pavement structure,a finite element model for seepage and mechanical analysis of embankment and pavement under the influence of rainfall is established.(2)Check the rainfall data in Xuanwei area of Yunnan and the classification standard of rainfall intensity by the meteorological department,and select the appropriate rainfall intensity.(3)Taking the rainfall intensity as the flow boundary of the model,cross the rainfall intensity with the selected rainfall time and control the variables,Combined with the differential equation of unsaturated ooze and SWCC fitted by material parameters of each pavement structure layer,and apply SEEP/W The calculation of software can compare and analyze the seepage field change law of subgrade and pavement under different rainfall intensity and another different rainfall time.The analysis of seepage field mainly focuses on the Wv and the uw.The seepage analysis of the pavement structure layer mainly includes the time required for rainwater to penetrate into each layer and the change in the volumetric moisture content of each structure layer.(4)The results of seepage calculation are imported into the SLOP/W software,the control variables and combined with the limit equilibrium method can be used to analyze the stability of the embankment slope under different rainfall intensities,different rainfall durations,different slope ratios,and different subgrade fillings.(5)The results of seepage calculation are introduced into SIGMA/W module,and Mohr-coulomb strength theory can be used to study the variation laws of maximum effective stress,maximum total stress,maximum shear stress,X displacement and Y displacement of embankment slope under different rainfall intensities and different subgrade fillings.
