Vehicle limit is the most basic requirement to ensure the safe operation of the rail vehicle.The vehicle must be tested for vehicle limit when designing,manufacturing and repairing.Aiming at the insufficiency of traditional manual detection,such as complicated operation and low precision,this paper designs a set of rail vehicle boundary detection system based on line structure light to improve detection efficiency and accuracy.This paper mainly studies the following:(1)The line structure optical vision measurement technology is studied,and its basic principle and measurement model are analyzed in detail.Then a set of rail vehicle limit detection system is designed based on line structure light vision measurement technology,and the overall design scheme and main device selection are given,and analyzed the system characteristics.(2)The camera calibration and line structure light plane calibration method are studied.The principle of small hole imaging and the internal and external parameters of the camera are introduced.Then,based on the global calibration method of the laser tracker system,the data of each measurement unit is unified into the reference coordinate system.Finally,the calibration error is analyzed,and the parameters that improve the calibration accuracy are obtained.(3)The car body section measurement data processing method and the overrun determination algorithm are studied.Firstly,the strip image is filtered and segmented.Then an improved Steger stripe center extraction algorithm is proposed for the limitations of traditional Steger,which improves the speed and accuracy of the stripe center extraction.There is data between adjacent measurement units.A data fusion algorithm is proposed by overlapping.Finally,an over-limit algorithm based on vector product is proposed to judge whether the crosssection of the car body is over-limit.
