Stealth technology is the main factor that establishes superiority and dominates the battlefield in the modern aerial battlefield.The stealth of the aircraft is mainly reflected in reducing the echo signal of the aircraft,that is,low observability,so as to ensure that the aircraft is not detected by the enemy's radar defense system,thereby improving the survivability,penetration ability,and combat effectiveness of the aircraft.Therefore,how to accurately and quickly perform the stealth design of three-dimensional targets is of great significance.For this reason,this paper conducts research on the optimization design of stealth targets,which includes the radar cross section(RCS)reduction analysis of the partially-coated targets,the optimization of the stealth shape of the targets,and the comprehensive optimization method of the coating material/shape for the stealth targets.Design schemes and analysis methods are provided to achieve the stealth characteristics of three-dimensional targets.In this paper,the stealth characteristics of three-dimensional targets are taken as the research object,and the following work has been done:Firstly,the main radar stealth technologies and their advantages or limitations are introduced.Secondly,the integral equation method for analyzing the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the partially-coated targets based on impedance boundary condition is introduced,and it is combined with the hummingbird optimization algorithm to realize the RCS reduction analysis of the partially-coated targets.Based on the non-uniform rational B-spline(NURBS)modeling technology,an optimization method for the shape of three-dimensional stealth targets is proposed.Numerical examples are used to verify the correctness and practicability of the RCS reduction optimization analysis scheme of the three-dimensional partially-coated targets.Finally,the method of the RCS reduction based on the integral equation method combined with the space mapping algorithm to realize the fast optimization analysis of the RCS reduction of the three-dimensional targets.The Shooting and Bouncing Rays(SBR)method is introduced and it is as a coarse model of the space mapping because of its fast calculation speed.Similarly,the space mapping algorithm is used to improve the efficiency of the RCS reduction optimization with the shape of the targets.Finally,in order to further improve the optimization efficiency of the RCS reduction method,a variety of space mapping methods are used in combination with the proposed method.The application environment of different algorithms is summarized,which provides a basis for the analysis of different problems with the method proposed in the paper.
