As the energy needs in society continue to grow,the scale of the power network has also continued to expand,and the related safety issues have become increasingly prominent.In recent years,major power outages have occurred in many countries around the world,causing great negative consequences.The power grid blackouts are often caused by cascading failures.When a device in the power grid fails or is attacked,the power flow will be redistributed.We employ the tools such as network theory and intelligent algorithms in our work to study the recovery and control of cascading failures in the power grid.The main work is as follows:We study the method of power flow redistribution during the process of cascading failure.A node importance evaluation index based on network topology and power flow characteristics is given.Based on this index,a power flow redistribution method is further provided.Experimental results show that the proposed redistribution method is better than the random redistribution,degree-based and betweenness-based redistribution methods in controlling cascading failures.In addition,the influence of factors such as redistribution node size and power flow threshold on the control effect is also discussed.We study the resource allocation method in the recovery process of cascading failures in the power grid.A greedy resource allocation method based on the importance of nodes is given to improve the recovery performance of the power grid under cascading failures,and the resource allocation is further optimized based on the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm.The experimental results show that the proposed resource allocation method can effectively improve the recovery performance of the grid and reduce the elastic loss of the grid during the cascading failure.We study the robustness optimization method of power interdependent networks.We build the interdependent network topology based on network models.With the goal of improving the robustness of power interdependent networks against cascading failures,the simulated annealing algorithm is used to optimize the coupling relationship between network layers.Experimental results show that as the coupling rate increases,the overall robustness of the interdependent network decreases;given the coupling rate,the simulated annealing algorithm can effectively optimize the position of the coupling edges,thereby improving the robustness of the power interdependent network.
