Nowadays,the catering industry is developing extremely fast.The era of restaurants as a place that only solves food and clothing has long passed.Now,with the increasingly prominent pursuit of spiritual culture,the spiritual enjoyment in the dining space has gradually begun to be paid attention to.People’s expectation of dining space is a visual and spiritual pursuit,and the focus on restaurants has gradually evolved into the design of their environment and atmosphere,especially the construction of culture and the comfortable dining environment.People often go to restaurants with a good atmosphere,because it can bring different experiences and feelings,and they can relax themselves from busy life and tiring work.Stimulated by these factors,the theme restaurant began to be favored by people,and its market began to develop.The essence of theme restaurant is to export the different types of theme culture to consumers under the condition that the restaurants and the products and services it sells serves as a medium,bringing different feelings and experiences to consumers and meeting the needs of different consumers.However,because of the late development of Chinese theme restaurants and some problems in the course of development,it’s worth thinking and exploring how to create a good dining space as well as expressing its characteristics and conforming to the connotation of the theme culture.This thesis uses interior design of Huaqing Valley of workshop as a carrier,combined with the theme restaurant’s interior design techniques,using material textures,lighting configuration,space layout,decorative symbols,color matching and interior furnishings as the basis to enrich the interior design of the project,highlighting The theme of mood and atmosphere.This thesis consists of six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly describes the research background,the significance and content of the research,and the framework of the research.It provides the direction for the next thesis writing.The second chapter is the design theory part.Based on the data collection and summary,the important factors such as the definition,classification and characteristics of the restaurant and the design principles are analyzed and summarized.After that,it is the main part of the article.Chapters 3 and 4 explain the application of the design elements of the theme restaurant in interior design,and use case analysis to assist.Then,it is the corepart of the article.Chapter 5 combines the theory and practice,and applies the design element theory of the theme restaurant to the interior design of Huaqing Valley of workshop.Finally,Chapter 6 summarizes the full text,summarizes the results of your own design research,and summarizes the thoughts and experiences generated during the research.
