In Libo County,Qiannan Prefecture,Guizhou Province,the Yao ethnic group,known as the "living fossil of human civilization ",is living.The development of public lighting design has become an important cultural component of modern human life and plays a vital role in shaping the environment.On the basis of deeply understanding the characteristics of Yao monkey inspiration art style and modern public lighting,this paper extracts,deforms and reorganizes the artistic elements of monkey inspiration art,and applies the innovative artistic elements to the design of public lighting system according to the principles of public lighting design,thus avoiding the single combination application of ethnic art elements.Then,from the modeling decoration,material selection,environmental protection and health,intelligence and humanization and other aspects of the design to do a detailed elaboration and practical work display,and finally from the ethnic aesthetic perspective of public lighting design analysis,summary and put forward the future development trend of public lighting design.
