Research On The Production Process Of Chinese Guqin Silk Strings

Guqin art is a world-class intangible cultural heritage,and the production technology of Guqin silk string is an important part of it.The production technology of Guqin silk string has been broken and continued in history.Therefore,the research on the production technology of Guqin silk string is of great significance to inherit,protect and develop Guqin art.By analyzing and comparing the documents of silk string making technology in history,this paper combs out that the ancient string making method has the steps of material selection,chord combination,string boiling,string drying and string winding.According to the field investigation of modern silk string production technology data,this paper combs,analyzes and compares the process differences between Pan Guohui's production of Jinyu silk string and wusheng silk string supervised by Wang Duo,as well as the differences between their respective processes and historical documents,so as to reveal the relationship between Guqin silk string production technology and Guqin culture.Taking the study of silk string making technology as an example,this paper investigates the details of the use of the body in the research,connects the "hand" of the string maker(the body in making)with the "hand" of the zither player(the body in playing),and understands how the "hand" of "handicrafts" connects technology and culture,so as to provide a new idea for exploring the problem of "abiding by the principle and innovation" of Guqin silk string making technology.
