Hemodialysis is a conventional treatment for acute and chronic renal failure.It is reported that patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis are in a state of oxidative stress(OS)after long-term dialysis treatment.A number of complications such as cardiovascular disease,malnutrition,erythropoietin resistance,and amyloidosis arise.Patients survival time and the quality of life were serious affected by these complications.Hence,reducing or improving the state of oxidative stress can improve the postoperative quality and prolong the life of patients.Resveratrol(RES)is one of the natural polyphenolic antioxidants.PSF was used to prepare membrane,and RES was used as the modifier.The PSF/RES membrane was prepared by immersion precipitation phase transformation method.The surface chemical structure and morphology of the modified membranes were characterized by FTIR?XPS and SEM.The results showed that the functional monomer of RES migrated to the membrane surface and enriched during the formation process.With the RES content increased in the casting solution,the pure water flux of PSF/RES blend membranes increased and the hydrophilicity was enhanced significantly.Compared with the pure PSF membrane,the modified membranes showed significant improvement in scavenging ability of DPPH and ABTS~+free radical.It also had strong ability to inhibit lipid peroxidation.The blended membranes reduced erythrocyte and platelet adhesion and greatly improved blood compatibility.Silybin(SLB)is a natural antioxidant,which was grafted to sulfonated polysulfone(SPSF).SPSF-g-SLB was compatible with polysulfone in solvent.PSF/SPSF-g-SLB membranes were prepared by immersing precipitation phase transformation method.With SPSF-g-SLB content was increased in the casting solution,more SPSF-g-SLB segregated to the surface of the blend membranes,the pure water flux of modified membranes increased to 523.87 L/m~2h,and the hydrophilicity was significantly improved.Compared with pure membrane,the highest clearance rate of modified membrane for DPPH and ABTS~+was 68.35%and 88.05%,and the inhibition of lipid peroxidation was over 94.47%.The PSF/SPSF-g-SLB blended membranes significantly reduced the amount of red blood cell and platelet adhesion,and the coagulation time was within the normal range.The results showed that the PSF/SPSF-g-SLB blended membranes had strong antioxidant and excellent blood compatibility.
