The Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)spread globally at an extraordinary speed,causing a huge impact on the global economy,resulting in a slowdown in economic development and lack of motivation.In this context,many companies are facing a more complicated external economic environment.With high capital interest rates and unstable environment of the epidemic,the production and manufacturing industries have experienced outstanding problems such as slow growth and low investment returns,which have caused the global economic environment to continue to deteriorate.Therefore,in order to adapt to these challenges brought about by changes in the domestic and foreign market environment,manufacturing enterprises need to adjust their business models to make their development more standardized and reasonable,and then realize their own strategic transformation.This research takes Yunnan Chengda Enterprise Group Co.,Ltd.(Chengda)as the object,and carry out analysis from five aspects following analysis logic of“discovering problems,analyzing problems,and solving problems”.Firstly,systematically summarizing the domestic and foreign literatures on strategic transformation to find theoretical basis and starting point.Secondly,applying PEST analysis tool to comprehensively explore the external environment and internal resources and capabilities of Chengda.Thirdly,using the SWOT analysis model to analyze the competitive situation of enterprises,clarify the necessity of enterprise transformation,and establish the overall thoughts and basic principles of enterprise transformation.Fourthly,explaining the specific content of strategic transformation from resource allocation,organizational structure,strategic reorganization,operating structure,and employment system.Fifthly,proposing safeguard measures for strategic transformation in terms of funds,systems,resources and culture.Studies have found that under the influence of the epidemic,Chengda has encountered problems in its operations consisting of increased business risks,difficulties in personnel management,broken supply and capital chains.In order to solve these problems,Chengda needs to adopt four strategic transformation tasks,including rational mobilization of resources to weaken business risks,adjustment of organizational structure to achieve strategic reorganization,stabilizing the supply chain to transform operating structure,changing the employment system and the intern partner system,and then enhance the competitiveness of enterprises to achieve sustainable development.
