In nature,birds are subjected to a variety of shock loads during flight and pecking,but the high-frequency and high-acceleration shock behavior did not cause shock brain damage.Its excellent shock resistance has attracted widespread attention from scholars.At present,domestic and foreign researches on the impact behavior of bird heads are mainly concentrated in the fields of medicine and biology,which have certain limitations.This paper uses a combination of theoretical analysis,numerical simulation and experiment to analyze the characteristics of the bird's head structure and material,and study its impact resistance.Based on the principle of bionics,a new type of vibration isolator is designed to optimize mechanical equipment.The design provides theoretical reference.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The pigeon is selected as the research object,through its anatomy,the head structure characteristics are analyzed,the head and eye structure diagrams are drawn,and the head impact dynamic model is established according to the multi-degree-of-freedom vibration theory.Modal analysis analyzes the impact of the head structure on the impact resistance.(2)With the help of universal material testing machine and Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar(SHPB)experimental device,the mechanical characteristics of pigeon and woodpecker skulls were tested,and the mechanical responses under different strain rates were obtained.Using scanning Electronic Microscopy(SEM)observes the microstructure of the skull and analyzes the impact of the head's microscopic features on the impact resistance.(3)Use reverse engineering modeling technology to obtain scan images of pigeons and woodpeckers' heads through Computed Tomography(CT)system,use image and editing processing software to reconstruct and optimize the models,generate three-dimensional solid models,and use finite elements The software performs finite element simulation on the impact resistance process of the bird's head,analyzes the head stress and modal changes,and obtains the impact resistance factors.(4)The bird's head is used as a bionic prototype,combined with the head microstructure and impact resistance dynamics model,the traditional vibration isolators are optimized,and a new type of vibration isolators with damping characteristics are designed.The structure is compared to verify its vibration isolation effect.
