The ocean contains various resources,but due to the absorption and scattering characteristics of light waves by the water medium,the underwater visibility is low,and the survey of underwater resources is extremely difficult.Traditional visible light imaging detection technology is widely used in the field of underwater imaging,but the underwater image obtained by traditional visible light imaging detection technology is seriously degraded,blurred,and the image contains less information,which has long been unable to meet the needs of researchers.Obtaining high-contrast and high-resolution underwater images has become an urgent problem in this field.Compared with traditional visible light imaging,polarization imaging can reduce the influence of stray light and scattered light,and can distinguish the target from the background to a certain extent,so that the acquired image has be more useful.In order to obtain the information of the target object more quickly,the image enhancement method can be used to improve the quality of polarization imaging.This paper focuses on the development of polarization imaging detection systems and image processing methods,and analyzes the working principles of existing polarization imaging detection systems and the advantages and disadvantages of various polarization imaging detection systems.On this basis,completed the system design and prototype assembly of the six-camera polarization optical imaging system.By performing image fusion processing on the images collected by the prototype,a clear restored image with better effect is finally obtained.The research content of this article is as follows:(1)According to the analysis and comparison of the existing polarization imaging system structure and imaging principle,as well as the application requirements of imaging,the parameter design of the Six-camera polarization optical imaging system and the selection of imaging components are completed in this paper.(2)According to the design results of the optical system and the selection of the polarizer,the Solid Works software is used to design the mechanical structure of the imaging detection system housing,and complete the assembly and parameter verification of the polarization imaging system.The structure does not have a mechanical rotation structure,has good reliability and stability,is not affected by time changes and environmental changes,and suitable for various imaging environments.(3)Use the assembled prototype to conduct underwater image acquisition experiments,and perform registration and cropping and image fusion processing on the collected images.Use the assembled prototype to conduct underwater image acquisition experiments,and perform registration and cropping and image fusion processing on the collected images.The evaluation indicators such as definition,contrast,and information entropy are calculated.The experimental results show that the contrast and definition of the processed image are improved compared with the source image.The practicability and feasibility of the Six-camera polarization optical imaging system designed in this paper are verified,and the application value of the research work in this paper is proved. |
