Kindergarten teachers becoming researchers is the way to the connotative development of preschool education in the new era,the way to the quality improvement of kindergarten teaching and learning,and the way to the effective cultivation of kindergarten teachers’ core literacy.Kindergarten teachers should become researchers not only at the level of slogans,but also in concrete actions.By using survey research and interview methods,this study conducted a systematic survey of kindergartens in District Y of City A.It identified the basic status of kindergarten teachers becoming researchers in District Y of City A,revealed the problems of kindergarten teachers becoming researchers and analyzed the reasons for them,and finally proposed corresponding countermeasures to promote kindergarten teachers becoming researchers.In addition,the study also selected outstanding case teachers to conduct in-depth interviews and analyze their professional growth experiences,so as to provide reference for kindergarten teachers to become researchers nowadays.The research results show that the problems of kindergarten teachers becoming researchers are in five aspects:(1)the research literacy of kindergarten teachers is lacking and the research content is superficial;(2)the research motivation of kindergarten teachers is distorted and the research purpose tends to be utilitarian;(3)the research cooperation of kindergarten teachers is lacking and the research method is formal;(4)the research energy of kindergarten teachers is insufficient and the research process tends to be fragmented;and(5)the research process is fragmented.(5)the research training is not targeted,which affects the enthusiasm of kindergarten teachers’ research.From the analysis,the causes of the above problems can be attributed to four levels:firstly,the unreasonable knowledge reserve and structure of kindergarten teachers;secondly,the evaluation method that emphasizes results rather than process;thirdly,the inadequate support and guarantee system of kindergarten;and fourthly,the loss of traditional social role division.Based on the analysis of problematic representations and causes,this study proposes a triple realization countermeasure for kindergarten teachers to become researchers: first,to enhance kindergarten teachers’ main research awareness and professional self-awareness.Second,to establish a sound teaching and research system and create a good educational research environment.Finally,the government should give full play to its policy advantages and promote the improvement and perfection of relevant incentive mechanisms.
