Classroom rules are an important part of classroom teaching management,and the correct observance of classroom rules is the basis for the smooth progress of classroom teaching.Children with autism have defects in cognition,communication and social adaptation,and it is difficult to understand and abide by classroom rules as accurately as ordinary children in the classroom.In classroom teaching,behaviors such as shouting,crying,talking at will,running around at will,etc.are prone to not abide by the classroom rules.The visual cuing strategy is a strategy that utilizes the visual learning advantages of autistic children and comprehensively uses various visual cuing materials to organize expectations,preview,prompt,and review social expectations,so as to promote autistic students to understand classroom rules and clarify classroom behavior norms.The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of visual cuing strategies on cultivating autistic students to obey classroom rules,promote effective learning of autistic students’ classroom rules,and adapt to classroom teaching.In this study,two third-grade autistic students in a special education school were used as the experimental research objects.The interview objects were the head teacher and the teacher of the life language course of the two research objects.Visual cuing strategies were used to keep quiet behavior and classroom behavior in the classroom.Correct sitting posture is trained to cultivate correct classroom behavior and better adapt to the classroom.This research adopts the single-subject experimental method and interview method.Use the self-compiled "Autism Student Interest Questionnaire" to select the appropriate reinforces.For the research subjects,and use the self-compiled "Autistic Student Obeying Classroom Rules and Behavior Observation Records" to collect the research subjects to keep quiet in the classroom during the baseline period,training period and maintenance period suitable performance and the performance of sitting upright in the classroom,using the self-edited "Interview Outline for Students with Autism Obeying Classroom Rules" to conduct interviews with the head teacher and the teacher of the life language course of the research object,and record their behavioral performance in the experimental stage.Using visual analysis and C statistics to analyze and discuss the experimental data,to explore the effectiveness of visual cuing strategies to train autistic students to obey classroom rules.This study draws the following conclusions: Visual cuing strategies can cultivate students with autism to obey classroom rules,that is,the behavior of keeping quiet in class and sitting upright in class are increasing;There is a maintenance effect;There are individual differences in the visual cue strategy to cultivate students with autism to keep quiet in the classroom.Therefore,educational suggestions are put forward: Strictly implement the visual cue strategy to train autistic students to abide by the classroom rules and behavior training procedures;Apply the visual cue strategy to curriculum teaching and class behavior management,and transfer it to daily life;The application of the visual cue strategy should consider the individual differences of students.
