| Objective: The development of the country and society needs a large number of talents with all-round development of "morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor".As the backbone, college students are of self-evident importance. At present, the adverse feedback on the physical health level of college students in China inevitably makes people worry about the long-term development of our country in the future, especially in today’s society where the epidemic is rampant, physical health is the key link to build the country’s long-term prosperity. In order to explore an effective mechanism to promote college students to independently carry out physical exercise activities, this study starts from the research direction of the selection and use of new media, with the help of exercise behavior theories such as health belief, planned behavior, knowledge, belief and behavior, and self-efficacy,and based on the complex social background of the continuous interference of the COVID-19 and the rapid development of information technology,to explore the harsh environment in which college students are in the post epidemic era and are constantly threatened by external diseases,Its "yes no?" "Can you?" With the help of the new media,we can effectively reverse our poor physical fitness. At the same time,it also provides a basis for the development direction of the national new media platform. Methods: Through literature review to determine the source of the questionnaire, and use the exercise behavior theory to build a conceptual model that affects college students’ autonomous fitness behavior;Through the questionnaire survey method, collect the data for analysis, and analyze the obtained data with the help of SPSS,Mplus and other mathematical statistical software.Results:(1)This study found that college students’ choice of new media is the combination of two new media, accounting for the highest proportion, followed by three, while the combination of single media or four media accounts for less. From the perspective of new media selection tendency, they are group participatory media, interactive operation media, information search media and interpersonal communication media.(2)The differences of College Students’ gender, grade, different media contact time and different fitness habits all have a significant impact on College Students’ autonomous fitness behavior(P < 0.001).(3)Through the analysis of correlation, regression and structural equation model, the fitness possibility has a significant positive impact on autonomous fitness behavior, the significance is 0.000(P < 0.001),and the standardized parameter is 1.335;Fitness possibility and self-efficacy has a significant negative impact on independent fitness behavior, the significance is 0.001(P < 0.01),and the standardized parameter is-0.062,indicating that the regulation effect is significant;Self efficacy had no effect on autonomous fitness behavior(P > 0.05).Conclusion: By analyzing the influence of College Students’ new media selection and use of relevant variables on their self-regulated fitness behavior, this study finally found that:(1)the epidemic has increased the media contact time of college students, and the audience who pay attention to sports content also accounts for a large proportion.(2)The choice and use of new media promote college students’ Fitness Attitude to be more positive.(3)The effect of new media to promote college students’ independent fitness needs to be improved. |
