ObjectiveThis study used the SWOT model and combined with AHP(analysis of hierarchym),analyzed the development environment of academic exchanges under the CSSS,realized its optimal development strategy purpose of academic exchanges,provided suggestions for the society and sports academic associations to better carry out academic exchanges,and provides a strategic reference basis for promoting the academic innovation and driving development of sports.MethodsThis study used literature method,expert interview method,SWOT-PEST and SWOT-AHP analysis method,questionnaire survey method,and mathematical statistics method.Firstly,through literature method,expert interview method and SWOT-PEST analysis method,we comprehensively and deeply grasped the internal and external environment of the academic exchange development of the CSSS,obtained the subfactors such as advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges affecting its development and constructed the model;Secondly,factor importance comparison questionnaires and intensity questionnaires were distributed according to the requirements of the SWOT-AHP model,and the strength of each group of sub-factors was calculated by applying the AHP after the data from the questionnaires were recovered and organized statistically;Finally,the SWOT strategic quadrilateral was constructed according to the strength values of each group of S,W,O and T,and the type of strategy for the development of academic exchange of the CSSS was determined by the center of gravity of the parallelogram.Result and Conclusion(1)The basic contents of academic exchange of the CSSS included: high-level academic conferences represented by the National Sport Science Congress,academic conferences and forums of strong professionalism hosted by secondary branches,national key strategic consultation and services,publication and exchange of scientific research results and award evaluation.(2)Through the analysis of SWOT-PEST model,the advantageous factors for the development of academic exchanges of the CSSS mainly included active government policies,stable financial funds,influential academic brands and strong quality membership groups;however,there were still disadvantages in management system,funding structure,informatization construction,etc.The reform of the social organization management system,the innovation of driving the development strategy,the construction of China’s sports discourse system in the new era,the rapid development of the sports industry,the hosting of international events such as the Beijing Winter Olympics,and the arrival of the high-tech digital age had brought major opportunities to the development of academic exchanges.However,with the national financial support factors such as austerity,the global spread of the COVID-19 epidemic and the intensification of epidemic prevention,the improvement of the country’s new talent evaluation system,and the intensification of competition caused by the lowering of the entry threshold for social organizations would all pose new challenges to the development of academic exchanges of the CSSS.(3)According to the analysis of the quantitative model of the Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP),the order of total strength(absolute value)between the four groups of SWOT was obtained: Opportunity O Group(2.4019)> Advantage Group S(0.8849)> Disadvantages W Group(0.3953)> Challenge Group T(0.2757);the strategic selection of academic exchange development was: SO development strategy-WO struggle strategy-ST resistance strategy-WT conservative strategy.Therefore,the development of academic exchanges of the CSSS was mainly based on the SO strategy,that was,to accelerate the establishment of the "four links" strategic system,that was,to realize policy communication between the society and the government,economic integration with social enterprises,communication with the hearts and minds of the people,and technical communication with “sister associations”.At the same time,we should also take into account the WO strategy,that was,seized the opportunity to effectively promoted the reform of "de-administration";actively strived for the opportunity for the government to purchase services and transfer government functions;dynamically introduced and absorbed diversified forms of communication;informatization construction and vocational training of the team go hand in hand.Consolidated and carried forward advantages,and promoted the positive transformation of our own disadvantages with the dividends of the times.Suggestions: 1.Established and improved a quality evaluation system for academic activities that meets its own characteristics;2.Appropriately added "academic pyrotechnics" to exchange activities in the form of pilots;3 Established a systematic academic exchange activity achievement management platform. |
