| As society develops,the ageing population becomes more serious.Firstly,the aged ones play a cohesive role in a family.Secondly,some of the aged ones play an important role in different social areas and devote themselves in social development.However,due to the accelerated decline of the aged ones’ physiological functions and the loss of bone calcium,the balance ability of some aged people declines,which brings inconvenience to life and work.In severe cases,it is easy for aged people to fall and then lead to some unnecessary diseases even shorten their lives when their balance ability declines.Studies have confirmed that some simple and easy scientific exercises for the aged people will improve the balance ability.24-style Tai Chi is used in the research to intervene the balance ability of the aged people.The entire routine focuses on these things: keep body upright,be moderate and comfortable,practice softly,be clear between the virtual and the real,which can maintain and even improve balance ability while strengthening bodies for the elderly.It has also been widely praised and recognized because the entire routine is easy to learn,to practice,and to remember which is especially suitable for the aged people.Based on relevant data,this paper mainly focuses on analysis for totally 38 healthy subjects who are over 60 years old living in Luoyan Community,Yuquan District,Hohhot,Inner Mongolia,in which documentary analysis,questionnaire method,experimental method,and mathematical statistics method are used.Rather than divided into groups,the subjects received a 12-week 24-style Tai Chi intervention,5 times a week,each about 90 minutes.Static balance,dynamic balance,lower limb muscle strength and balance psychological indicators were tested and compared from longitudinal aspect in the early,middle and late stages of the experiment,then the effect of 24-style Tai Chi on improving the balance ability for the aged people was explored step by step which provides a theoretical basis for the study of 24-style Tai Chi to improve the balance ability of the aged people.The followings are the conclusions.1.In terms of balance ability,the aged people were obviously weaker.After the 24-style Tai Chi intervention experiment,there was an overall improvement on the balance ability of the aged people,which shows that12-week 24-style Tai Chi practice has a positive impact on the improvement of the balance ability for the aged people.2.It was effective after 12-week 24-style Tai Chi practice that there appeared a positive trend for static balance data of the aged people,especially in the intensive Romberg examination and the duration of standing on one foot with eyes closed.3.The 12-week 24-style Tai Chi practice improved the dynamic balance ability of the aged people.The duration of the balance beam in dynamic balance was significantly shortened;In terms of the star-shaped offset balance index,it not only improved their balance ability,but also improved the flexibility of the lower body.4.12-week 24-style Tai Chi practice had improved the lower body strength and endurance of the aged.And it can effectively improve the balance confidence of the elderly while preventing falls. |
