| China’s badminton men’s singles players won three consecutive Olympic championships in 2008,2012 and 2016.However,at the 2021.7 Tokyo Olympic Games,two of China’s best men’s single players,Chen Long and Shi Yuqi lost to Danish badminton player Viktor Axelsen,Subsequently,in the Team Competition of the Sudirman Cup in September 2021,Shi Yuqi,an outstanding athlete in China,lost to Viktor Axelsen again;Lin Dan also lost to Viktor Axelsen many times in the competition at the end of his career,For example: Rio Olympics semi-finals and 2017 World Championships final Lin Dan lost to Viktor Axelsen;It can be inferred from this that recently,Viktor Axelsen is the biggest threat to China’s men’s singles players worth studying.Momota Kento ranked no.1 in the world in November 2021,with 13 consecutive victories over Arcelor,so Momota Kento’s technical and tactical methods are very worthy of our reference and learning.This paper uses the last 9（20 rounds）large-scale matches between Chinese players,Danish Viktor Axelsen and Japan’s Momota Kento,and analyzes and summarizes the technical and playing style tactical characteristics between them through comparative analysis and summary of the technical and playing style tactical characteristics between them through literature,mathematical statistics,video observation,etc.,to provide a certain theoretical reference for China’s male singles athletes,and is also conducive to the learning of China’s men’s singles professionals and amateur badminton enthusiasts.The following conclusions were drawn from the study:1.In the front court,they use the same frequency as picking the ball,rubbing the ball,and ticking the ball,and pushing the ball is relatively small;but Axelsen’s pick-up technology is the highest,significantly higher than that of Shi Yuqi and Momota Kento;Shi Yuqi’s hook use is more;it is recommended that Shi Yuqi’s backcourt technology be strengthened,and the hook is appropriately reduced when playing against tall players.2.In the midfield they use the most frequent technology is the killing blocking tennis;among them,Momota Kento’s use rate of killing blocking tennis is the highest,and the use rate of China’s Shi Yuqi catching and blocking net is the lowest;in terms of the use rate of the killing hook,The use rate of China’s Shi Yuqi is the highest,Momota Kento’s use of the catch and kill hook is the lowest,and there are extremely significant differences between Momota Kento and Axelsen in terms of catching and killing hooks.It is recommended to face Arcelor’s kill ball more to catch the net and less to catch the hook.3.In the backcourt,Shi Yuqi and Axelsen use the most frequent techniques for killing the ball,and Momota Kento has the highest use of the hanging ball technique;Shi Yuqi should pay attention to the consistency of the pace after killing the ball.4.In terms of full-court technology use,their usage order is consistent from most to least frontcourt,backcourt,and midfield;Axelsen’s right backfield overhead zone is extremely threatening,Momota Kento’s front-net technology is delicate;Shi Yuqi likes to control the opponent’s overhead backcourt. |
