| As a new generation of mobile Internet technology,5G has brought extensive and profound impact to the media industry with a series of advantages such as ultra-low delay,ultra-high transmission rate and support for large-scale connection.For this reason,the current sports communication and reporting will also be affected and constantly change and innovate.From the theoretical perspective of communication ecology,this paper takes the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics application practice as the primary study case and conducts research from three levels.The first is from the communication and audience level.It mainly discusses the changes in digital sports media in the communicator,communication content,and communication audience under the background of 5G technology.The second is from the media organization level.And it mainly focuses on the sports media industry grasping the dividend of new technology and taking the initiative to reform the industry and optimize its structure.The third is from the media control level,which mainly refers to the ecological relationship between media ecological environments such as culture,economy,politics,and media activities.And prevent technology from overriding the sport and impacting the sports media industry and communication.Driven by 5G,sports event reporting will make considerable breakthroughs in content quality,acquisition form,and meeting personalized needs,and improve the convenience,on-the-spot sense,and real-time communication of sports event information.In the future,digital sports media will also develop towards high quality,substantial experience,and specific,personalized content.The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games,with the slogan“Together for a Shared Future”,fully combines 5G and its ubiquitous technology with the dissemination of sports events,realizing intelligent viewing,ultra-high-definition live broadcasting,sports technology,and safe hosting.The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games significantly improved the experience in viewing and deepened and expanded its participation and dissemination.Furthermore,it also takes advantage of the scientific and technological Winter Olympics to tell a good Chinese story by demonstrating China’s scientific and technological strength.The author believes that the communication of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games has made outstanding achievements,and the practical application of 5G technology during the Winter Olympic Games has also provided valuable experience for the transformation and optimization of the whole digital sports media format.Under the background of 5G technology,digital sports media should not only seize the opportunity and constantly cater to new technology for business format reform and structural optimization but also pay attention to the industrial impact and ethical problems brought by 5G and actively use new technology to avoid the adverse effects of technology. |
