With the development of socialist market economy, all kinds of emerging industries appear and grow in a blowout manner, and the society has higher and higher requirements for the comprehensive quality of talents.Bad behavior habits and unable to manage their own behavior will hinder primary school students to grow into talents needed by the future motherland.Teachers can promote the formation of pupils’ good behavior and self-management ability. However,in reality, there are still many areas to be improved in Teachers’ behavior management of pupils. Therefore,it is urgent to optimize teachers’ behavior management of primary school students and cultivate their self-management ability.Taking L primary school in Yingde City of Guangdong Province as an example, through questionnaire survey on 109 teachers and interview with 20 primary school students who have violated the rules,we found that the management of teachers is an important factor affecting pupils’ behavior.Primary school students’ wrong cognition of behavior and behavior results, teachers’ focus on individual education, lack of collective education and teacher led autocratic management are the main problems in Teachers’ management of pupils’ behavior. In the dissection problems, the author concludes that the main reasons for these problems are teachers’ weak management consciousness and improper management methods. The subjective reasons of teachers themselves and the objective reasons around them, especially the imperfect laws, lead to the weak management consciousness of teachers. Moreover, teachers ignore the thinking characteristics of pupils and their instinct of seeking advantages and avoiding disadvantages when managing pupils’ behaviors. In view of this, the author puts forward some feasible plans based on the relevant literature, that is,to formulate specific operational rules of conduct,to cultivate the habit of doing things orderly,to implement the daily routine,to establish the authority of the rules,to let primary school students participate in the treatment of violations, and to combine collective education with individual education.
