| Clear and specific expectations for the development of children’s scientific literacy in the “Learning and Development Guide for 3-6 Years Old Children”.Picture books are often used as the carrier of children’s learning,in which there is a lot of natural science knowledge,which has a subtle impact on the formation of children’s scientific literacy.In view of this,this study uses text analysis to sort out the natural science knowledge in picture books;Then,through the interaction with children,the value of natural science knowledge in picture books is explored;Finally,combined with interviews with teachers,this paper analyzes the factors that affect the realization of their educational value,and puts forward specific suggestions on how to play the educational value of natural science knowledge in picture books.This research mainly includes five partsThe first chapter is introduction.Explain the origin and significance of this study,sort out the research status,and put forward specific research design.The second chapter is the carding and presentation of natural science knowledge in picture books.The knowledge of Natural Science in picture books can be roughly classified into knowledge about animals and plants,knowledge about natural phenomena and mathematical knowledge.It involves a wide range of natural sciences,closely related to children’s real life,and easy to understand,in line with children’s specific empirical cognitive characteristics.Its presentation is mainly based on situational language,with various means of expression.The natural science knowledge in picture books is intuitively presented in picture language,with cartoon as the main,exaggerating and interesting,and the use of photographic works and scientific and technological materials.The third chapter chooses a representative picture book from each type of picture books of scientific knowledge and expounds the specific value of natural science knowledge in picture books for children’s scientific learning and development.The analysis results show that its educational value is mainly reflected in the following three aspects: the value of accumulating scientific experience,the value of developing scientific ability and the value of scientific emotional experience.These three kinds of educational values are not separated,but an organic whole.Chapter four,the paper analyzes the value and factors of natural science knowledge education in picture books from three aspects: object,subject and realistic conditions.It finds that the scientific of picture book content,individual difference of children,teachers’ understanding,teaching activities design and teacher child interaction all have an impact on the educational value and play of natural science knowledge in picture books.The fifth chapter,education suggestions and reflection.In view of the educational value of natural science knowledge in picture books and the influencing factors,this paper puts forward the following five specific suggestions: select the picture book resources with scientific content and intuitive presentation;Pay attention to cultivate children’s interest and ability of scientific reading;Deepen teachers’ understanding of natural science knowledge in picture books;Reasonable processing of natural science knowledge in picture books;Pay attention to teachers and children’s reading together,pay attention to children’s expression.Finally,this paper makes a comprehensive reflection on this study. |
