General Secretary Xi Jinping once pointed out that a strong youth makes a strong country,and college students are an important force to promote social progress and the pillars of national development.The interpersonal relationship of college students is one of the core contents of campus life.The inharmonious interpersonal relationship of college students will affect the overall development of individuals,and then relate to the harmony and stability of the campus.Individual behavior is affected by endogenous factors.As an individual endogenous factor,psychological quality will have an impact on college students’ interpersonal relationship.In order to promote the formation of a good interpersonal relationship,this study adopted professor Xiao Hanshi’s "Self-rating Scale of Students’ psychological Quality" and Shen Wudan’s "College Students’ interpersonal relationship Questionnaire" to investigate 903 college students from 16 universities in Changsha.Among them,character quality is the stable psychological characteristics of an individual in the face of reality attitude and behavior,is the core of individual personality characteristics,and is also the most basic element of psychological quality.Based on factor analysis,the internal structure of character quality is explored,which is divided into the character of learning,the character of reality and the character of others.Furthermore,psychological ability mainly refers to a person’s ability in cognitive and psychological adaptation.Based on factor analysis,the internal structure of psychological ability is explored,which is divided into learning and development ability,ability to obtain happiness,interpersonal communication ability,self-regulation ability and psychological endurance ability.The interpersonal relationship of college students refers to the relationship of getting along with and communicating with related individuals or groups around college students.Based on factor analysis,it can be divided into classmate interpersonal relationship,life interpersonal relationship,teacher-student interpersonal relationship and virtual interpersonal relationship.Based on quantitative research method,this paper describes the level and structure of psychological quality and interpersonal relationship of college students,explores the correlation between psychological quality and interpersonal relationship of college students,and constructs multiple linear regression to explore the impact of psychological quality on interpersonal relationship of college students.The results show that: first,the psychological quality of college students and the level of interpersonal relationship.The average value of character quality and psychological ability of college students is 3.778 and 3.647,which are higher than the theoretical median and above the average level.The average value of interpersonal relationship among college students is 3.403,slightly higher than the theoretical median value,which still needs to be improved.Second,psychological quality and college students overall interpersonal relationship.Personality quality has a significant impact on the interpersonal relationship of college students,which is manifested in the positive impact of personality towards learning and reality.Psychological ability has a significant impact on the interpersonal relationship of college students,which is embodied in the learning and development ability,the ability to obtain happiness,interpersonal ability and psychological bearing ability have a significant positive impact on the interpersonal relationship of college students,and the self-regulation ability has a significant negative impact on the interpersonal relationship of college students.Third,psychological quality and college students in different dimensions of interpersonal relationship.Character quality has a significant impact on the interpersonal relationship of different dimensions of college students,which is specifically manifested as the personality towards learning,the personality towards reality and the personality towards others has a significant positive impact on the interpersonal relationship of all dimensions of college students,but the personality towards learning has a significant negative impact on the interpersonal relationship of college students.Mental ability on college students’ interpersonal relationship has significant impact on different dimensions,development ability,the ability for happiness embodied in learning,interpersonal skills and self-regulation ability and psychology to bear ability on college students’ interpersonal relationship has significant positive influence on different dimensions,but the self-regulation ability on college students’ interpersonal relationship between teachers and students and virtual interpersonal relationship has significant negative effects.
