At present,higher vocational colleges have entered the period of high quality connotation development.In this new situation,the teaching innovation team construction project of teachers in higher vocational colleges comes into being.This kind of high-level “double-division” team building requires high-level team leaders,who,as the team manager,are the coagulant and core of team building activities.Therefore,the selection of team leaders with strong ability,high level and certain post competence is the first and most critical step in the construction of high-quality “double-division” team structure,and even determines the team’s future development direction and final construction performance to a large extent.However,as far as the existing research results are concerned,there is basically no literature on the topic of competency of teachers’ teaching innovation team leaders in higher vocational colleges.To sum up,based on “competency theory” and “learning organization theory ”,this study builds the theoretical framework of the team leader competency model by integrating two model construction methods:on the one hand,take the literature analysis method,based on the teaching innovation in higher vocational colleges teachers team leader competency combing analysis of related literature,finally summed up the team leader should possess higher vocational teacher’s teaching innovation of 121 competence characteristics elements,for subsequent teaching innovation in higher vocational colleges teachers team leader competency theory provides a theoretical basis for the construction of a model;Using research methods of case analysis,on the other hand,adopt“critical incident interviews”,again through the coding method of grounded theory,refined out of the teacher’s teaching innovation in higher vocational colleges,head of the team of147 competence characteristics elements,inductive generated based on the five main categories of demand of this one post,and put forward the “learning organizations and leadership”the core category.Then,on this basis,the effective integration of the two is carried out to construct the theoretical framework of the team leader competency model.The results show that the theoretical framework of the competency model for teachers’ teaching innovation team leaders in higher vocational colleges is composed of five first-level components,namely motivation,personality traits,self-awareness,team management leadership,team professional construction leadership,27 second-level components and 204third-level behavioral characteristics.Finally,based on the competency model obtained from the research,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the application of the competency model for team leaders in higher vocational colleges in the construction of the same type of“double-division” team structure.
