Plato was a great educator in ancient Greece,and his thoughts on children’s game constitute an important part of his educational thoughts.In his thoughts on games,he pioneered the idea of integrating learning into games,and regarded the spirit of law as the basic proposition of children’s games.Games are the basic lifestyle of children.In the games organized by kindergartens,games actually play the role of curriculum.As a curriculum,games shoulder the responsibility of promoting children’s development and helping children adapt to future social life.In Plato’s view,games and courses are also integrated.Starting from the needs of national politics,in order to cultivate qualified citizens who have a sense of identity with the country,Plato incorporates the spirit of law into children’s games,which has practical enlightenment on how to achieve morality in kindergartens.Based on this,this article conducts a more in-depth study on the legal spirit contained in Plato’s children’s games.This research starts with the literature analysis of Plato’ s works represented by the "Utopia" and "Law",systematically combs and explores the children’s play thoughts,and combines Plato’s educational thoughts,legal thoughts and philosophical thoughts.,Carry out further rational thinking.This study is divided into five parts in the research of the legal spirit in Plato’s thoughts on children’s game.The first chapter is the introduction,mainly about the reasons for the topic selection,the research significance,the definition of the concept,the literature review and the research methods.The second chapter mainly analyzes the foundation of Plato’s children’s game thought,including political foundation,cultural foundation and theoretical foundation.The third chapter focuses on the legal spirit of Plato’s children’s game.First,the game should conform to the child’s inherent natural "law".Plato believes that innate gold,silver,and copper materials and the acquisition of knowledge through memory are children’s inherent natural attributes and "laws.";The second is to analyze the legal spiritual attributes in Plato’s story games,music games,sports games and intellectual games;the third is to explore the role of children as producers and guardians in games and experience the public life of city-state political life and social rules.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the embodiment of the legal spirit in the implementation of Plato’s children’s games,which is mainly reflected in the three aspects of choosing proper games,prohibiting game renovations,and censoring and managing games.The fifth chapter is the evaluation and practical enlightenment of Plato’s children’s game thoughts.Plato’s thoughts on children’s game created a precedent for educational teaching,made constructive regulations on the rules of children’s game,and triggered reflections on the national identity of teachers.However,its conservative nature directly led to the neglect of many possibilities for children’s development.Plato’s thoughts on children’s game can give us practical enlightenment.The first is to give play to the synergistic effect of entertainment and sociality of games;the second is to establish ideological and political awareness of game courses;the third is to attach importance to the choice of game themes in kindergartens;the fourth is to play the leading role of kindergarten teachers.
