Autonomy is an important behavioral characteristic in children’s growth and an important personality characteristic in children’s independence.As one of the games with strong subjectivity of children,role game is of great significance for promoting the development of children’s autonomy because of its nature and concept.In this study,one class of each age group in F Garden was selected as the object of observation.The "Status Observation Table of Children’s Autonomy Development in Role Games" was used to observe the performance of children’s autonomy in role games in selected classes,and SPSS data analysis software was used to analyze the observed data.Combined with the data results and children’s performance in the game,the characteristics of children’s autonomous development in role games are analyzed as follows: children finish the game independently and choose their favorite materials independently;Too much regulation of games,children’s self-control behavior pseudo-existence;Children have poor persistence and short attention span;Children refuse unreasonable requirements and actively maintain their own emotions;Children’s summary ability is poor,it is difficult to express their inner thoughts.Through the analysis of actual cases and conversations with teachers,the reasons are summarized as follows: the creation of the game environment;Making rules of the game;Provision of game materials;The development of game evaluation system;Instructional strategies for teachers.In order to promote the good development of children’s autonomy in role games,the following suggestions are put forward: to create a role game environment suitable for children’s autonomy development;To guide children’s autonomy development in role games;Develop an evaluation system conducive to children’s autonomous development.It involves five aspects: game rules,environment creation,game materials,game evaluation and teacher guidance.
