| Because of their own particularity,children with intellectual and developmental disabilities have the problem of maladaptation in school in the process of campus life of inclusive education,which affects their school life.Therefore,on the premise of understanding the school adaptation of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities,it is necessary to choose appropriate support strategies,formulate and implement individualized support plans,so as to achieve the purpose of improving school adaptation.In this study,a comprehensive questionnaire survey and case study method were used to investigate the school adaptation of 335 children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in inclusive education.Then use the case study,select four cases to support their school adaptation,and analyze the effectiveness of the support.The research conclusions are as follows:1.In the inclusive education,the school adaptation of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities needs to be supported.2.The school adaptation of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in inclusive education is influenced by children’s own and family factors.3.Children with intellectual and developmental disabilities need support in three aspects: academic adaptation,sense of belonging and routine adaptation.4.The support for the adaptation of four case schools has both immediate and maintenance effects,and the support is effective.5.The effective support is accompanied by decreasing support intensity.Based on the investigation and support research of school adaptation,the following suggestions are put forward:1.Pay attention to the school adaptation of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in inclusive education.2.Accurately understand children’s support needs,choose appropriate support strategies for them,and build support systems.3.Provide support for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in inclusive education in school preparation and transfer period.4.Strengthen support for professionals and ordinary teachers in inclusive education.5.Pay attention to parents’ support for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in inclusive education.6.Give full play to the power of scientific and technological in the process of school adaptation and support.7.The process of support needs accompanied by dynamic evaluation... |
