A Comparative Analysis Of The Competitive Performance Of Foreign Centers And Domestic Centers In The 2018-2019 CBA Season

As my country’s highest level basketball league,CBA has delivered a large number of outstanding players to my country since its establishment.In recent years,with the continuous improvement of the CBA league competition level and international reputation,it has attracted a large number of high-level foreign players to join.The appearance of the league matches has been further improved due to the participation of foreign players,which has also promoted the competitive level of domestic players and provided a good opportunity for the development of basketball in my country.Players in different positions on the basketball court will have varying degrees of impact on the game due to their respective attributes.Among them,center players,as the most representative position players in traditional basketball,are often in the fiercest confrontation on the court due to their special tactical significance.Fighting for the most concentrated basket,so the strength of the center player’s competitive strength will often play a decisive role in the level of a team.In view of this,this research uses "Comparative Analysis of the Competitive Performance of Foreign Centers and Domestic Centers in the 2018-2019 CBA Season" as the topic of the thesis.The thesis takes the competitive performance of 40 foreign center forwards and domestic local center players who meet the established conditions in the CBA2018-2019 season as the research object.Based on the technical statistics of 1631 games of 40 center players in the season,it adopts the literature method,expert interview method,Mathematical statistics,logical analysis,starting from the three aspects of competitive performance structural characteristics,offensive and defensive technical performance,and scoring factors,a systematic comparative analysis of the competitive performance of foreign aid centers and domestic centers.The results of the paper show:(1)Through factor analysis,the factors that affect the competitive performance structure of CBA foreign center forwards and domestic centers are analyzed.The factors that affect the competitive performance structure of foreign center forwards are mainly two-point ability factor,offensive and defensive awareness factor,three-point long shot factor,free throw scoring factor,and offense.The composition of turnover factors and active defensive factors;and the factors that affect the competitive performance structure of domestic centers mainly include offensive and defensive skill factors,free throw scoring factors,three-point long shot factors,basket offensive factors,and experience awareness factors.(2)The structural characteristics of CBA Chinese and foreign centers’ competitive performance show different differences.The two-point ability factor contributes the most to the foreign aid’s competitive performance structure,while the domestic offensive and defensive skill factor is the factor,indicating that foreign aid centers are mainly good at two-point offense,while domestic centers are good at two-point offense.It highlights the comprehensive use of offensive and defensive skills,and at the same time,the offensive error factor in the foreign aid competitive performance structure has an impact on it,while domestically does not,indicating that the domestic center has a proper control of errors,but in general,the foreign aid center’s competitive performance structure is different.The factor contribution value distribution is balanced.The overall strength is relatively strong,and the overall strength of the domestic center still needs to be improved.(3)CBA foreign-assisted centers and domestic centers have different season offensive and defensive technical performances.There are significant differences in offensive and defensive skills.Generally speaking,foreign-assisted centers are better than domestic centers.There is a big gap in the level of foreign aid centers.(4)CBA foreign-aided centers and domestic centers show different performances in offensive and defensive skills in different game situations.In the home and away situation,the foreign aid center’s turnover index is lower than the away game;the domestic center is the dunk index.The home game performance is better than the away game.In the context of the win-loss field,the offensive technical performance of foreign centers differs greatly,while the defensive performance is of the same level;the technical performance of domestic centers on both ends of the offense and defense is quite different.(5)CBA foreign-assisted center and domestic center’s season scoring factors are generally direct offensive scoring indicators,but there are differences in the order of the degree of influence,in which offensive rebounds enter the domestic center’s scoring factors.(6)There are differences in the factors that affect the scores of CBA foreign centers and domestic centers in different game situations.In terms of home and away games,the overall difference in the main indicators of the scores of foreign aid centers and domestic centers is not big,except for individual indicators,which is reflected in the fact that the dunk will affect the away score of the foreign aid center,while the offensive rebound of the domestic center has an impact on the home court.Certainly,the away game is an assist.In terms of wins and losses,there are large differences in the factors affecting the scores of foreign aid centers,while the factors affecting the scores of domestic centers are generally stable,but assists in the win will have a certain effect on the score.
