| Talent is an important strategic resource for urban development,and cities are the main places where talent is concentrated.The degree of talent agglomeration determines the core competitive advantage of urban development.Talent agglomeration also profoundly affects the level of urban green development.For the Yellow River Basin,as an important region in China’s regional economic map,ecological protection and sustainable development are important for the coordinated development of the regional economy.At present,the Yellow River Basin is still facing brain drain,ecological damage and environmental pollution problems in the process of economic development.Improving the Yellow River Basin’s talent agglomeration level will bring new vitality to its high-quality development,and improving the efficiency of green development is an inherent need to promote the Yellow River Basin’s high-quality development.Therefore,it is important to research the influence of talent agglomeration on green development efficiency with theoretical basis and practical significance in the Yellow River Basin.Based on relevant theories and research results at domestic and international conferences,this paper explores the mechanism of the influence of talent agglomeration on the urban green development efficiency.This paper uses panel data of cities in the Yellow River Basin from 2008 to 2018,to explore the spatial pattern distribution of 70 cities in the Yellow River Basin by measuring and analyzing urban talent agglomeration and green development efficiency.Using Arc GIS10.2 software to visualize and describe the spatial pattern distribution and evolution characteristics.Using Stata15 software to test the relationship between talent agglomeration and urban green development efficiency in the Yellow River Basin,as well as other factors affecting urban green development efficiency in the basin.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The level of talent agglomeration is not high in the Yellow River Basin,but the overall trend is rising and the gap between cities is obvious,the level of talent agglomeration in midstream cities is higher than the level of talent agglomeration in upstream and downstream cities,and the cities with high talent agglomeration are mainly provincial capitals;(2)The level of urban green development efficiency in the Yellow River Basin is generally low,its internal differences are obviously,and the level of green development in downstream cities has improved significantly;(3)The influence of talent agglomeration on green development efficiency has significant regional heterogeneity,with upstream and midstream cities showing a "U"-shaped relationship,and downstream cities mainly showing a positive promotion effect of talent agglomeration on green development efficiency;(4)Industrial structure and government support have a negative effect on green development efficiency in the Yellow River Basin.The degree of openness to the outside world and the level of economic development both have a significant positive effect on green development efficiency.Based on the above findings,the measures of this paper are as follows: Cities in the Yellow River Basin should create a livable and pleasant environment and improve the spatial governance mechanism for talents;Local governments should actively promote the optimal allocation of talent resources,promote the transformation of industrial structure,deepen the transformation of old and new dynamics,improve the innovation capacity of cities and play the radiation role of central cities;Cities also should take advantage of their own resource endowment to develop green development. |
