| With the deepening of education digitization and informatization,distance education and large-scale open online courses are gradually emerging,which are booming under the huge demand of modern education,further promoting the sharing of teaching resources and education fairness.In the learning process of online courses,learners generally need to find the course content accurately from many video interface design elements for learning.However,due to the lack of guidance of design strategies,many online courses’ video interface layout design is unreasonable,which leads to the cognitive overload of learners and affects the learning efficiency of Online courses,To a certain extent,it leads to the high dropout rate of online courses.In this context,based on the cognitive load theory,this study optimizes the layout of online course teaching interface,creates online course video interface design strategy template,and explores the optimization effect of design strategy template through experimental design.The main work of this study is as follows(1)Based on the literature analysis method,this paper analyzes the current situation of online course teaching interface layout in Open Education in China,selects typical online course cases through questionnaire survey,interview and case analysis,and combs the design elements of online course teaching interface layout External cognitive load and effective cognitive load are three aspects to screen out the design elements related to cognitive load.(2)The strategy of online course teaching interface layout design based on cognitive load is proposed,and the online course video interface layout design template is created.The strategy of selecting key design elements and the online resource optimization of the "history of industrial design" online course were carried out.(3)Through the eye movement contrast experiment,this paper explores the changes of learners’ cognitive load before and after the course optimization,and analyzes the test scores,learning satisfaction and eye movement data of different online course experimental groups,so as to explore the optimization effect of the online course teaching interface layout design strategy based on cognitive load.Through this study,from the perspective of design to improve the quality of online courses proposed solutions.It has certain reference significance for the design of online course video teaching resources in the future.At the same time,it also provides practical reference for the application of online course resources in the teaching process. |
