| In recent years,more and more female college students have entered the gymnasium to participate in equipment training,focusing on shaping body beauty,mostly weight loss.Many female college students still think that they are overweight when various physical indicators are very standard.Therefore,unscientific weight loss has brought great harm to female college students.In order to alleviate the body anxiety of female college students and improve their self-esteem,this study uses equipment training as an intervention method to help female college students establish a correct attitude towards body image and improve their self-esteem,and guide female college students to develop in a positive and healthy direction.Research purpose: This article aims to explore the following issues through experimental research:(1)Does the 4-week equipment training affect the body image and self-esteem level of ordinary female college students?(2)And whether 4-week of equipment training can make a significant change in the body image and self-esteem level of female college students,(3)Explore the impact of 4-week equipment training on the body shape of ordinary female college students,(4)Discuss the effect of equipment training on the mental health of female college students and the effect of physical exercise on the promotion of mental and mental health.Provide methods and data references for improving the health status of female college students.Finally,the author hopes to use this research to promote the promotion of equipment training among female groups,resolve the misunderstanding and prejudice of female groups about equipment training,and popularize the benefits of equipment training to more women.Research methods: This article uses literature,interview,logical analysis,questionnaire,statistics and experimental to explore the positive impact of 4-week equipment training on female college students’ body image and self-esteem.After being screened by test conditions,24 ordinary female college students(all non-physical college students)from Shanghai University of Sport were selected as experimental subjects,and they were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,of which 12 were the experimental group and 12 were the control group.12 ordinary female college students in the experimental group were given a4-week exercise intervention for equipment training,training twice a week,a total of8 times,each for 90 minutes.The other 12 students did not participate in equipment training as a control group.Before and after the experiment,their self-esteem level,body image level and physical characteristics were tested,and SPSS19.0 was used to analyze and process the data collected before and after the experiment.Research results:(1)Explicit self-esteem: After 4-week of equipment training exercise intervention,the experimental group and the control group have significant differences in the explicit self-esteem scores(P<0.05),and the experimental group has significant differences in the explicit self-esteem scores before and after the experiment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the explicit self-esteemscores of subjects in the control group before and after the experiment(P>0.05).The explicit self-esteem level of the experimental group was significantly higher than that before the experiment,and the explicit self-esteem level of the control group was higher than that before the experiment.There was no significant change before the experiment.(2)Implicit self-esteem: After 4 weeks of equipment training,the implicit effect comparison value of the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05),the implicit effect comparison value of the experimental group before and after the experiment(P>0.05),the experiment After 4 weeks of equipment training,the participants’ implicit self-esteem did not increase significantly,but after the experiment,the average implicit effect of the experimental group increased significantly,from 290.16 milliseconds to 480.02 milliseconds.,It shows that 4 weeks of equipment training has a certain positive effect on the implicit self-esteem of female college students.(3)Body image cognition: After 4 weeks of equipment training,after the experiment,the experimental group had seven subscales in appearance evaluation,comfort tendency,health evaluation,disease tendency,body part satisfaction,overweight,and self-categorization.Significant difference(P<0.05),there is no significant difference in the three subscales of appearance tendency,comfort assessment,and health tendency(P>0.05).After the experiment,the control group had no significant difference in the ten dimensions of body image(P>0.05).(4)Body shape: After 4 weeks of equipment training,the body shape of the experimental group showed significant changes in the two indicators of skeletal muscle and body fat percentage(P<0.05).In terms of physical fitness,the lower limb strength and cardiopulmonary ability were compared Significant changes(P<0.05)have no significant effect on other indicators(P>0.05),so it is concluded that 4 weeks of equipment training has a certain positive effect on the body shape changes of female college students.Analysis conclusions:(1)4-week of equipment training can significantly improve the self-esteem level of female college students,especially the apparent self-esteem level of female college students.(2)The 4-week equipment training has a certain positive impact on the body image of female college students,which is mainly reflected in the significant changes in the following dimensions: appearance evaluation,comfort tendency,health evaluation,disease tendency,satisfaction with body parts,overweight and Self classification.The 4-week equipment training has a positive trend of improving and improving the body image cognition of female college students.(3)After 4 weeks of equipment training,the body composition and physical functions of the female college students in the experimental group have been improved to a certain extent,but their bodies have not changed significantly. |
