With the transformation of China’s economy and the adjustment of industrial structure,secondary vocational school talent cultivation must change from knowledge and skills training to comprehensive professional ability promotion.As an important symbol of secondary vocational schools different from general high schools,specialty teaching is the core link of cultivating technical talents for the society.The quality of specialty teaching in secondary vocational schools determines whether the talents they cultivate can meet the requirements of social development.Based on the questionnaire and interview survey,this study investigates the improvement of accounting teaching in secondary vocational schools under the mechanism of teaching diagnosis and improvement(TDI),and finds that the mechanism of TDI has the positive function of promoting the improvement of accounting teaching quality.For example,it can promote students’ academic performance,learning enthusiasm,self-confidence and self-management;it also has certain positive significance for teachers to update their teaching philosophy,improve teaching methods and improve the quality of teacher-student relationship;it can help teachers form teaching habits of self-diagnosis,self-reflection and continuous improvement,and it can also help teachers to improve their teaching behavior in order that high quality skilled personnel training will be realized.However,in the process of promoting specialty teaching improvement,the mechanism of TDI still faces many constraints,and the teaching problems diagnosed have not been improved in the following aspects: the lack of unified curriculum teaching standards in accounting teaching;the problem of deep participation of enterprises has not been effectively solved;the curriculum system is not scientific enough;the accounting teaching evaluation method is obsolete,and the lack of diversification of accounting information class.In view of the problems diagnosed that are not solved by the TDI mechanism,this thesis puts forward the path to further improve the specialty teaching: complete the TDI mechanism;standardize the construction of accounting curriculum system;enhance enterprise participation;provide high-quality information teaching conditions;change the evaluation method,pay attention to the use and integration of multiple evaluation methods as well as improve the professional development of accounting teachers.Generally,this study is helpful for secondary vocational schools to recognize problems in the accounting teaching,and further help secondary vocational schools to apply the TDI mechanism to better play its role in improving the quality of specialty teaching.
