| By the end of 2019,the total retail sales of consumer goods in China had exceeded 40 trillion yuan,nearly twice the size of 2010,providing a better macroeconomic environment and market support for consumer finance.The national consumer demand is increasingly strong,and the borrowing willingness is also significantly enhanced.College students,as a relatively large consumer group in our society and the fastest to accept the emerging culture,have reached an annual consumption scale of more than 300 billion yuan.Under the conflict of strong consumer demand and limited monthly living expenses,the consumer credit market of college students continues to develop,and at the same time,some bad credit problems of loan platforms have also emerged,which seriously harm the physical and mental health and legitimate interests of college students.After cracking down on campus loans in 2017,the country again regulated the market of college student consumer loans in a document released on March 17,2021,further clarifying the direction of future supervision.The purpose of this paper is to investigate the consumer credit demand of college students in Baoding City,to understand the current situation of the demand of college students and its influencing factors,so that the demand end and the supply end to achieve a balance,so that the benign development of the consumer credit market of college students.This paper first defines the concept of college students’ consumer credit,combs the theoretical basis related to the behavior of college students’ consumer credit,and then analyzes the current situation of the development of college students’ consumer credit,which lays the foundation for the questionnaire survey of college students’ consumer credit demand.Secondly,the stratified sampling method is used to investigate the college students in Baoding City,and it is found that nearly 68% of them have consumer credit needs.Based on this,the descriptive statistical analysis and logistic regression model analysis of the specific needs of college students are carried out,and the analysis results are as follows:(1)The consumer credit demand of college students is closely related to the consumption concept,consumption behavior,financial knowledge and family factors.(2)College students are more inclined to hedonic credit consumption.(3)College students lack credit knowledge.(4)Lack of formal financial services and problems in platform security.(5)College students’ credit awareness needs to be strengthened.Finally,according to the results of the survey and analysis of the consumer credit demand of college students,this paper puts forward the following targeted suggestions: firstly,from the perspective of external supervision,we should improve the personal credit investigation system of college students,strengthen market supervision and increase the intensity of punishment;From the product supply side(mainly banking financial institutions)to develop reasonable products,strict risk management;It is necessary to strengthen the guidance and education of college students from the perspective of colleges and parents.Finally,from the perspective of college students,it is necessary to establish correct values and enhance self-restraint.I hope these suggestions can contribute to the healthy development of college students’ consumer credit market. |
