The multiplication table is a valuable historical and cultural heritage in china,which has made fundamental contributions to the outstanding performance of primary and s econdary school students in international mathematics comparison.Therefore,the m ultiplicationtable has always been the basic teaching content of primary school mathe matics in china.As a formula,although catchy,it does not mean that students can sol ve the multiplication problem by memorizing them.How to let students remember o n the basis of understanding,and even better application formula has been the basic p ursuit of multiplicationtable teaching.For a rural primary school,what we need to p ay special attention to in the teaching of this part of knowledge is the problem that th e institute needs to solve.In order to explore how to improve the teaching of jiujiu multiplication table in rura l primary school,this study adopts action research method.First of all,45 secondyear students who were about to learn the " multiplication tabl e" were tested before the multiplicationtable,and found that about 56 % of the studen ts could write all the multiplicationtable.About 32 % of students can write part of th e formula scattered,about 5 % of the students can not write any formula,about 7 % o f the students can write all the formula;In terms of the understanding of the meaning of the formula,about 38 % of students can correctly express the meaning of a formul a with words and drawings.About 38 % of the students try to write the meaning of t he formula,but wrong,24 % of the students do not write anything.Then,two parallel classes are selected to carry out comparative teaching,and the te aching content is the multiplicationtable of 5 and 9.First of all,according to the resu lts of the previous test,the teaching design is carried out on the basis of considering t he prestudent concept knowledge,and the teaching is taught in the comparison class.Then through classroom observation,data collection is carried out from four dimensi ons,such as students’listening to lectures,classroom interaction,selfhelp lear ning and learning effect.Carry out paper and pen tests on students after class;At the same time,the teachers were interviewed after class.It is found that students are act ively engaged in class,and they will take the initiative to express their opinions when interacting with each other in groups.the existing problems are that they have too lo ng time to draw hands,count fingers and fill in forms when importing,and students’interest is not high.Combined with classroom observation and teacher reflecti on,the introduction of change for students familiar with eye exercises,strengthen the incentive mechanism.The test results showed that the full score and passing rate of the experimental class were significantly higher than that of the control class.In the teaching design of the multiplicationtable of the next 9,the " finger method" is used t o increase the problem variant design,including more complex problems,presenting not only the calculation formula on the blackboard,but also cards and graphics.Stud ents who find new methods are slow to accept,less willing to cooperate,and prefer t o memorize the formula.After the improvement of the teaching plan mainly through the students like the game teaching,classroom observation found that the improved t eaching plan teaching middle school.
