| Primary school grades 4-6 belong to early adolescence.On the one hand,children at this stage have a tendency to depend on their parents,and on the other hand,they have a tendency to seek peer support and express their own position.The study of children and adolescents at this stage is useful for reducing puberty.The occurrence of parent-child conflicts and behavioral problems is of great significance.The purpose of this research is to explore the relationship among the parenting style,self-awareness and social anxiety of primary school students at this stage.The study used questionnaires to investigate primary school students in Shijiazhuang.The "Parent Rearing Style Evaluation Scale(EMBU)","Children’s SelfAwareness Scale(PHCSS)" and "Children’s Social Anxiety Scale(SASC)" are used as survey tools,and the questionnaire star online questionnaire survey system is used as the survey method.A total of 467 valid questionnaires were gathered.The results of this study are as follows:(1)Among elementary school students in grades 4-6,compared with girls,parents use more negative parenting methods when raising boys;the lower the grade,the parents tend to use emotional warmth,understanding and preference;parents treat non-students cadres tend to use more severe punishment,while mothers use more emotional warmth and understanding for student cadres;parents use more emotional warmth,understanding,severe punishment and preference for their only child;parents with higher education use more emotional warmth understanding and preference.(2)Among elementary school students in grades 4-6,the self-awareness of girls is significantly greater than that of boys;the higher the grade is,the stronger the self-awareness is;the self-awareness of student cadres is significantly stronger than that of non-student cadres;the self-awareness of only children is significantly greater than that of non-only children;Parents have higher education and children’s self-awareness will be stronger.(3)Among elementary school students in grades 4-6,the higher the grade is,the more obvious social anxiety is;the social anxiety of non-student cadres is significantly greater than that of student cadres.(4)Among the pupils in grades 4-6,there is a significant correlation between parental rearing style,social anxiety and self-awareness.Parental rearing style can predict social anxiety and self-awareness plays a mediating effect.The conclusions of this study are as follows: Among primary school students in grades 4-6,there are significant differences in parental rearing styles in factors such as gender,grade,only child,and parental education level.Self-awareness is significantly different in gender,grade,whether to serve as a student leader,and whether to be an only child.There are significant differences in the educational level of parents,and social anxiety differs significantly in grades and whether to serve as student leaders.Parental rearing styles can predict social anxiety,and self-awareness plays a part of the mediating effect. |
