Outdoor play is important part of children’s daily life activities.In the process of outdoor play,children can get close to nature,breathe fresh air and bathe in warm sunshine,which plays a promoting role in the development of children’s health,learning and other aspects.The Learning and Development Guide for 3-6 Years-Old Children clearly stipulates that "outdoor play time should be ensured for children.Children should spend no less than two hours outdoors every day,including no less than one hour of sports play time".The Guidelines for Kindergarten Education clearly points out that "colorful outdoor play and physical activities should be carried out to cultivate children’s interests and habits in physical activities,enhance their physique and improve their ability to adapt to the environment".Outdoor play is of great value to children’s development.However,due to the influence and restriction of many factors in rural kindergartens,there are still many problems to be solved in children’s outdoor play.This research mainly adopts observation method,interview method and other research methods.Based on the existing research at home and abroad,this paper takes four kindergartens in rural areas of Guangxi as the research object to understand the basic situation of outdoor play in rural kindergartens on the basis of observation.First of all,the basic situation of outdoor play in rural kindergartens is described from six dimensions,namely,outdoor play venues,outdoor play time,outdoor play facilities and materials,outdoor play types,teachers’ guidance in outdoor play and children’s learning in outdoor play.Secondly,the existing problems are found: the area of outdoor play is small;local space resources are not made full use of;outdoor play do not have enough time and are more random;there are certain safety risks in outdoor play facilities and lack of play materials;outdoor play type is single,lack of innovation;Teachers lack the ability to guide outdoor play;children’s learning effect in outdoor play is poor.Thirdly,it is found that there are four main factors affecting outdoor play: the first aspect is kindergarten,managers have cognition and behavior deviation of outdoor play;managers lack of study and discussion relate to outdoor play;the second aspect is the teacher,the professional level of teachers is low;teachers have insufficient cognition of outdoor play;the third aspect is children,the children are young and lack rich experience in outdoor play;children’s drive to outdoor play is insufficient under the influence of video play;the fourth aspect is children’s parents or grandparents,grandparents have over-protection of children under intergenerational rearing;children’s parents have insufficient support for outdoor play.Finally,according to the problems and influencing factors,the author puts forward the strategies to promote outdoor play.kindergartens should pay attention to the development of outdoor play and improve the quality of outdoor play;kindergarten teachers should strengthen learning,improve the enthusiasm of carrying out outdoor play;parents should establish a correct view of the play,support the development of outdoor play.
