Research On The Application Of PAD Class In Junior Middle School Mental Health Education Curriculum

Abstract/Summary:
PAD Class is a new teaching model proposed in recent years,which is mainly divided into three links:knowledge intensive teaching,internalization and absorption and discussion.This article tries to apply the split classroom to the teaching practice of the middle school mental health education curriculum,and makes some useful attempts for the teaching reform and innovation of the middle school mental health education,in order to improve the students’ independent learning and exploration ability.On the basis of consulting a large number of literatures and the practice of bisecting classroom teaching,we investigated the current teaching status of the mental health education curriculum in Yinchuan A Middle School,chose "interpersonal relationship" as the teaching theme,and made mental health education based on the bisecting classroom teaching model.The teaching design and implementation of the curriculum explored the effectiveness of the PAD Class and traditional classroom teaching models respectively applied to the junior high school mental health education curriculum.The teaching practice process adopts the experimental method.The 13 and 14 classes of the second grade are selected as the experimental class and the control class respectively.There is no significant difference between the two classes in terms of learning ability,interpersonal relationship and overall quality.Both classes have the same name.The teacher teaches,but the two classes use PAD Class and traditional classroom teaching mode respectively.After the implementation,through questionnaire surveys,classroom observations and random interviews,the impact of PAD Class on the interpersonal relationship and overall quality of junior high school students was analyzed.Through the analysis of data,it is found that PAD Class can effectively improve the interpersonal relationship and overall quality of students.At the same time,students have more orderly classroom discipline under PAD Class,and the participation and enthusiasm of students is higher than that of traditional classrooms.The atmosphere of group discussion is stronger,students answer questions more actively,and the quality of answering questions is higher.And most students have a high degree of satisfaction and acceptance of PAD Class.As a simple and efficient teaching model,in the process of teaching practice,teachers should pay attention to time control,improve teaching organization ability,make full use of knowledge internalization,and need to continuously improve their professional quality and teaching wit.Due to the author’s insufficient teaching experience and short internship period,the experimental research is affected by many objective factors,and the experimental conclusions need to be verified by more teaching practice.
