| Entering the new era of mass tourism,with the continuous promotion of global tourism,rural tourism is developing rapidly.As an important part of rural tourism,homestay inn plays an important role in promoting rural development,optimizing agricultural industrial structure and improving farmers’ income and quality.Talent is an important resource for industrial development,and talent training has become the key to the development of tourism and homestay inn industry.The training goal of tourism service majors in secondary vocational schools is to provide skilled service and even management talents to the tourism industry.However,the existing curriculum system of secondary vocational schools cannot meet the development needs of the tourism industry.Therefore,the school-based curriculum development of homestay inn courses can not only enrich students’ knowledge,but also provide talents for the homestay inn industry.First of all,this study collects and analyzes the current situation of school-based curriculum development,school-based curriculum development of tourism majors and homestay inn personnel training through literature research method.Based on Skilbeck’s school-based curriculum development process,pragmatism education thought and task driven teaching method,the school-based curriculum development of service and management of homestay inn is carried out.By means of questionnaire and interview,this paper investigates the students,teachers and practitioners of homestay inn in Nanning No.1 Vocational and technical school,clarifies their needs and views on school-based curriculum,and probes into the necessity and feasibility of developing the school-based curriculum of service and management of homestay inn in Nanning No.1 Vocational and technical school.Secondly,curriculum development is carried out according to the situation model of school-based curriculum development of Skilbeck.On the basis of investigating the curriculum development and teaching situation of the school,the school curriculum development organization is established,the basic principles of curriculum development are determined,and the curriculum system is compiled according to the needs of students,homestay inn practitioners and the suggestions of teachers,The course objectives,course content,course evaluation and other aspects are determined,and the course content is organized in the form of task page.Each module corresponds to different task units,aiming at cultivating students’ skills in home and lodging industry in an all-round way.Finally,through the teaching design and curriculum implementation,this study tests the effect of school-based curriculum development of " service and management of homestay inn ",selects class 2 students of grade 20 hotel in Nanning first vocational and technical school as the experimental objects,uses task driven teaching method to carry out practical teaching,and evaluates the curriculum development and teaching effect through interview and questionnaire survey.The school-based curriculum development and implementation of "service and management of homestay inn " in secondary vocational schools reflects the current situation and Prospect of the development of homestay inn,improves the curriculum system of tourism service specialty in secondary vocational schools to a certain extent,provides new employment direction for secondary vocational students in job hunting and employment,and lays a foundation for the input of talents in homestay inn industry.Through the development of school-based curriculum,we can adapt to the needs of industry development,fully respect the needs of students,improve the professional level of teachers,reflect the characteristics of secondary vocational schools,and provide a good reference for other secondary vocational schools to set up school-based curriculum. |
