With the official launch of the comprehensive two-child policy in 2016,the number of births in China has increased significantly in the short term, and the birth rate has rebounded. As children are an important part of the family in our country, the full opening of the second child will inevitably have a certain impact on the family’s consumption structure, which in turn will affect the level of family education consumption. At the same time, with the advent of the Internet era,Internet payment,as a relatively mature industry in the field of Internet finance, provides people with a convenient, fast and low-cost payment model when residents are pursuing personalized and diversified consumption. At the same time,Internet payment has entered The measures of fund, credit, and installment payment have effectively alleviated the consumption pressure of residents, allowing residents to consume according to their expected future income. In the research, this article first introduces the research background of this article, the theoretical and practical significance of this article,as well as the article’s ideas, methods, and innovations. It further elaborates the current research status of domestic and foreign scholars on consumption structure from the factors affecting family education consumption, the influence of demographic structure on family education consumption, and the influence of mobile mode on consumption, which laid a good theoretical foundation for the research of this article.Practice reference. In the third chapter,it introduces in detail the development status of family education consumption in my country, the status of family population structure in my country, the development status of mobile payment and the impact on family education consumption. In the fourth chapter, research hypotheses and theoretical analysis are put forward on the basis of the theoretical mechanism of the child dependency ratio on family education consumption and the role of Internet payment. In the fifth chapter of the article,we conduct empirical analysis, including the data sources used, the descriptive statistics of the selected variables, and the establishment of regression models to further analyze the impact mechanism of the child dependency ratio on family education consumption from the perspective of Internet payment. The hypothesis is tested. At the end of the article,we draw conclusions and make specific policy recommendations. The empirical results show that there is a positive correlation between the child dependency ratio in the family and family education consumption, that is,the higher the child dependency ratio, the higher the family education consumption, and the larger the proportion of education consumption in the total household consumption. In the analysis of the moderating effect of Internet payment on the above relationship,it is found that the higher the frequency of family Internet payment, the stronger the positive impact of the child support ratio on family education consumption.Regarding the specific influencing mechanism,Internet payment cannot affect family education consumption through school education consumption and other education consumption channels, but a way to positively adjust the child dependency ratio to influence shadow education consumption. At the same time,it is found that high-income households have lower education input intensity and higher income households, and that urban household Internet payment has a greater positive regulatory effect on children’s support than increasing household education consumption. These findings also have certain significance.
