Research On The Consciousness Of Ecological Civilization Of College Students In New Era

With the improvement of our country’s economic development level and the transformation of major social contradictions,ecological and environmental problems have become the significant factor hindering our country’s economic and social development and influencing the people’s living level and happiness index.In the face of the deteriorating ecological environment and the demands of the masses,the party and the country attach great importance to the construction of ecological civilization.As the builders and successors of socialism,college students are the main force in the construction of ecological civilization and the beautiful China.The sense of their responsibility and participation is directly related to the effectiveness of the construction of ecological civilization and the sustainable development of the Chinese nation and flourishing.Therefore,cultivating college students’ consciousness of ecological civilization is not only an inherent requirement for college students’ round development,but also an important responsibility given to them by the era.This thesis researches the problem involved in college students’ consciousness of ecological civilization by studying relevant materials,supported by the theory of ecological civilization.During the investigation,the article uses varying methods of literature research methods,experiential summary method and questions surveyable.Firstly,it defines the related concepts of college students’ ecological civilization consciousness,and combs the theoretical basis of college students’ ecological civilization consciousness.Cultivating college students’ consciousness of ecological civilization not only needs to be guided by the ecological views of Marx and Engels and the leaders of the Chinese Communist Party,but also needs to inherit and develop the ecological thoughts of Chinese excellent traditional culture.Secondly,using investigation and interviewing method,the positive aspects of college students’ consciousness of ecological civilization are analyzed.A majority of students have mastered certain basic knowledge of ecological civilization,actively agree with the ecological civilization construction.They can consciously practice the environmental protection behavior.Moreover,there are still some problems that cannot be ignored in college students’ consciousness of ecological civilization.The principal issues conclude that plenty of undergraduates have insufficient knowledge of ecological civilization,lack of ecological aesthetic awareness and emotional motivation,ecological protection will not be firm,strong contrast between thought and behavior.Their ecological behaviors is utilitarian and self-centered.The paper analyzes the problems of college students’ sense of ecological civilization from the external factors and internal cause.Ultimately,it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on how to strengthen college students’ sense of ecological civilization,including the need for improving the ecological environment of society and building positive eco-culture atmosphere,colleges and universities need to improve the construction of ecological civilization curriculum system,optimizing the teaching and campus environment,paying attention to dominant and recessive education,educators need to innovate teaching methods.Furthermore,colleges and universities should also give full play to family education and peers.Definitely,college students also need to self-education.Multiple forces form a joint force so that it is beneficial to build college students’ sense of ecological civilization.The article mainly combines the background of the new era and the group characteristics of college students,focuses on the analysis from the four dimensions of college students’ cognition,emotion,volition and behavior of ecological civilization,and integrates the ecological aesthetic consciousness into the dimension of "emotion".Accordingly,study the cultivation of ecological civilization consciousness of college students in the new era.
